The family stood outside waiting for the checkup to complete tensed. Everyone was calm not uttering a word looking at Ram who was facing his bedroom door waiting for the doctor to come out.
The doctor came out taking off her mask and stood before the King "She's starved, dehydrated, so weak, her blood levels and sugar levels are low. If anyone was in her place they would have either died or went into a shock but her stubbornness saved her and her child" making everyone sigh and the ladies wiped their tears listening to Vasu's condition.
"She'll be fine Ram you need to rest so you can take of her and then kill him" Raghav said putting his palm on Ram's shoulder.
Ram shrugged off walking inside his room making the nurse come out closing the door. Ram locked it before walking towards the bed where Vasu was sleeping with IV attached to her arm. She has dark circles under her eyes and her face pale due to the weakness in her body and so thin almost unrecognisable.
Ram sat on the bed beside her taking her palm in his and kissed it long before holding it to his cheek promising "I'll give him a death more painful than anyone in this world. I promise."
