you: so how's your baby?
addison: well... it's a girl! and she's due june 26
you: that's amazing!
addison: how are you doing with-
you: i'm better ig. josh remembers now so that's good
she nods. i hang up and go back over. i wake josh up just to show him the invitation.
you: look how cute it is
josh: i love you ness but i don't care about cute invitations *laughs
you: just look at it
he laughs and looks at it.
josh: if i say it's cute can i go back to sleep?
you: sure
josh: it's cute
i laugh and he closes his eyes again. i kiss his head and go back wt liv. a bit later dinner is done and will wakes josh. i feed carson her mashed peas while josh cuts jordan's spaghetti. then we eat and go home. josh puts the kids to bed and then takes his shirt off and lays down. i sit straddlinghis lap. he holds my waist and looks into my eyes. i'm smiling but he looks hurt.
josh: i can't believe i couldn't remember you. i feel terrible. 3 months without me having a clue about anything. you had to explain everything to me everyday
he kisses my head
josh: so i'm assuming playoffs are over?
i nod
josh: how'd we do?
you: they lost. but there's always next season
i caress his cheek.
josh: there's not gonna be a next time for me because i'm done with hockey.
you: what? why??
josh: ness i forgot you. i can't do that again
you: josh. you won't do that again. but you are gonna play next season. you love hockey.
josh: i do. but not nearly as close to as much as i love you. and we don't know if i'll get a concussion again
you: well if you do i'll just keep reminding you
he sighs
you: your gonna keep playing hockey. end of discussion
i connect our lips and he immediately returns the action kissing back. we make out for a little and then i fall asleep in his arms. when i wake up i'm being showered in kisses on my face neck and chest. he plants one last one on my lips.
3 months later
josh, the kids and i are all in LA staying at sway josh and i are in his old room and the kids are staying in the guest room since they are a little older. jordan has the bed and we have a little pop up crib for carson. last night everyone went out and took the kids, and josh and i had some fun here. now we are downstairs and charli just finished making breakfast. josh grabs the kids from upstairs. i see jaden run down the steps with jordan on his shoulders and josh comes down holding carson.
jaden: madssss can't we have a babyyyy
i laugh at how much jaden loves kids. he passes jordan off to me and i put him in the chair next to me. we all eat and charli feeds carson too which was nice.
addison: she's crying again. bryce will you go get allison?
bryce goes upstairs to get their baby. yes they had the baby! bryce brings allison down and feeds her. all i can think of when i see her adorable face is that josh and i would've had a kid that would have been born 4 days apart from her. everyone is in awe over allison while josh notices me a little upset. he grabs my hand and kisses it before whispering.
josh: jordan and carson
i nod remembering we have two beautiful kids already.
blake: let's do some crazy shit today
josh: ya com on man. it's your last day not married
jaden: it'll be like a bachelor party
mads: ya and then we can have a bachelorette party
bryce: what ab allison
you: and cars and jordan?
addison: my parents can watch them all
you: are you sure? they're prepping for the wedding and already have lucas and enzo
addison: enzo is 17. lucas is 13 now so they can watch all the kids
