dr: that's it! we have to do an emergency c section!
they make josh get off the bed obviously.
you: n- no! *crying dr: mrs richards if we don't get the baby out now neither of you will make it! dr2: your son is premature so it's most likely only one of you will make- you: save the baby! please
they rush me out and give me anesthesia
michelle's pov~
an hour later the doctor comes back in.
dr: your her husband correct? michelle: yes. he is. dr: well then he has to be the one to choose. who do you want to save? nessa or your son?
i look towards josh scared for my life.
michelle: he can't choose- he- he has memory loss and doesn't know- josh: s- save nessa
the doctor nods and i hug josh right, thankful he made the right choice. the doctor leaves the room.
michelle: i know you can't understand why completely but when nessa wakes up- she's gonna be really upset and gonna be mad at you. i don't care how mad she is- she's just gonna want you. it may not seem like it but you need to hug her and calm her down
he nods. about an hour later they bring carson back in. she doesn't wake up for a while. she groans and opens her eyes finally.
nessas pov~
you: w- what happened? michelle: josh had to make the choice of saving you or- you: no!! dammit josh! dammit dammit!!!
tears stream down my face knowing already that our baby died. josh comes over wrapping him arms around me and i give in crying to him.
you: o- o- our baby. j- josh
he holds me while i cry for hours.
a week later.
for a few days i didn't move from bed. josh's family have kept the kids everyday knowing how hard it is on me. i forgave josh for saving me instead of the baby. josh comes in our room
josh: how are you doing princess
i look up at him slightly confused
you: j- josh? josh: what you: w- why did we break up for a year? josh: you filmed a movie in hawaii. then you were with bryce- holy shit! i remembered that!
he lays down pulling me into a long soft kiss. i haven't really kissed him in months.
you: oh thank god
i lean my forehead against his and smile a little.
josh: you had to take care of me a- and the kids and you being pregnant. i am so sorry that i couldn't remember anything you: it wasn't your fault josh: but i didn't know what to do when you needed me most. i love you you: i love you too
he kisses my head and holds me tighter. later that day we go to his parents and tell them he remembers. then josh sleeps on their couch holding carson on his chest. will plays with jordan and i talk with liv while michelle and john cook sunday dinner. we always eat here sundays. addison calls me
addison: go check your mailboxxxxx you: whyyyy addison: wedding invitations!
i smile
you: ok liv if josh wakes up tell him i'll be right back
she agrees and while still on facetime with addison i walk over to the house and open our mailbox.
