i slept through the whole night and it was amazing. i wake and see josh on his phone. i turn and kiss him
you: how many times did you get up? josh: none. addison and bryce took the monitor last night and got up with him you: ok.
i start to cry a little just form still being exhausted.
you: i didn't think i- it would be this hard josh: it's ok baby. it is hard but we will get through it. and if jordan starts to eat from a bottle i'll feed him more. then we can give my family time with him and we get a break.
he kisses my head. we go to the kitchen where addison is cooking and bryce is at the counter rocking jordan. i go over and bryce passes him to me.
addison: sleep well? you: ya addison: good
i take jordan into the living room to feed him. i'm gonna give him a bottle at lunch. this morning he's taking extra long to eat and i'm starving. i pull up my shirt a little just so you can't see anything while jordan still eats. i go into the kitchen and sit and start to eat breakfast.
addison: ness your fine. you don't have to go away to feed him every time. we don't care you: i don't want bryce seeing my nip *laughs bryce: already have dipshit
addison and josh look at us confused and then remember our almost year of dating and go back to eating.
josh: will and liv are gonna stay here tonight if that's ok? you: ya. i don't care. addison: we will get jordan aga- josh: nah i got him tonight.
addison and bryce nod.
bryce: we are leaving tomorrow night you: nooooo addison: sorry luv. we gotta get back josh: you guys have to come back soon though bryce: oh totally. i'll miss jordan too much.
yes. he's finally done eating. i pull him away and pull my shirt up.
josh: here
josh take him from my arms and burps him while i eat. once i'm done i stand up and josh pulls me into his arms along with him and jordan. i lean against him almost falling asleep again.
josh: go back to bed. he just ate. i've got him
i nod and kiss him.
you: thanks. i love you josh: love you too babe
i go upstairs and sleep.
josh's pov~
josh: i'm gonna run over to my parents. i'm gonna take jordan. if ness wakes up and i'm still gone just let her know bryce: ok
i grab a blanket off the shelf and wrap jordan up so he doesn't get cold while we walk. it's too short of a drive for me to put him in the car seat twice. so we just walk. once we get there liv immediately takes him from me. i go and sit on the couch.
josh: will and liv still staying over tonight? mrs: ya if they want. how are you guys doing at night? josh: well nessa is sleeping right now. last night we both slept the whole time. addison and bryce got up with jordan. ness is struggling because she breastfeeds him and that means only she can feed him. so she's more tired than i am. dad why didn't you tell me this was so harddd? mr: because you needed to realize yourself.
i just nod and liv brings jordan back to me. he's crying. i rock him in my arms but he won't shutup.
josh: shi- crap i forgot his pacifier.
i check his diaper. that's why he's crying. good thing we keep extra diapers here.
josh: where'd you guys set the diaper bag mom: over there
will grabs it for me.
you: thanks bud
i carry jordan and the diaper bag to the bathroom and lay out the blanket on the huge counter. i take his diaper off. of course. he shit himself. i wipe him off and put a new diaper on. i tried to get his clothes on but he screamed so i just left them off and wrapped him in another blanket. i throw away the dirty diaper and put the changing blanket back in the bag. i go to the living room and set the bag down. i lay across the couch holding jordan on my chest.
josh: i'm taking a nap
they all nod. i keep my hand on jordan's bottom so he can't roll over. i move my baseball cap over my eyes and fall asleep.
