Gabriel followed Crowley and Aziraphale as they made their way to the Bentley. Aziraphale carried Eden's limp form in his arms while Crowley gently carried Eden's tattered wings as he guided the grief-stricken angel towards the now visible Bentley.

He saw Crowley glance at the torn up pavement where Eden battled Satan. The ground was cracked where she fell and hit the ground, bloodstained and bloody feathers were scattered everywhere. Crowley turned his gaze away and back to his family.

Gabriel stepped on something. He stopped and took a step back.

It was Eden's tartan bow barrette. It was now covered in drying blood, with some strands of Eden's dark red curls still stuck in the metal clip.

Gabriel bent down, scooping up the barrette and clutched it to his chest as fresh tears stung his eyes.
