Over the week, Yoongi had accompanied Jimin to some walks, had made him many burgers and at night he would set the pillows around Jimin's body so he wouldn't fall off again. Today was Jimin's first physiotherapy session. He was finally able to take steps.

Jimin was using Yoongi's body for support, and the Alpha realised that other than vanilla Jimin smelt of apples. Their bodies were close, because Yoongi had to hold his mate tightly. He tried to convince himself he wasn't taking advantage of the situation. Especially since all Jimin wore were Yoongi's clothes. He liked it. Maybe too much.

"You're not helping." Jimin bickered.

"What do you mean, all your weight is on me." Yoongi frowned

"Are you saying I'm heavy?" Jimin scoffed.

"Fine, I'll let go." Yoongi released him, only for Jimin to fall backwards until Yoongi caught him around his waist. Up close, Jimin's eyelashes fluttered lightly as he avoided eye contact with the Alpha, his red glowing orbs looked away. "You're beautiful, my dear."

Seokjin cleared his throat. "I think that's it for today. I thought the Luna would be able to take small steps today, maybe I was wrong. Let's pick this up again tomorrow."

"I'm hungry." Jimin whispered as he tugged on Yoongi's shirt. "Please make those patties with the onions and buns."

"Don't you ever get tired of those?" Yoongi asked as he picked Jimin up to carry him to the kitchen, letting him sit on the counter so he could see him clearly.

"Never." Jimin pouted like he was preparing to sulk.

Yoongi wanted to bite Jimin from how adorable he was being. "Okay, do you want three like usual?"

"Four for now, maybe four again later." Jimin mumbled.

"We only have three patties right now." Yoongi sighed. He showed Jimin, who's lips began trembling.

"Why didn't you buy more?" Jimin bickered.

"Why do you eat so much?" Yoongi yelled back. It was in that moment that Yoongi knew he had fucked up. "Sorry, baby. I'll call the guards right away." He grabbed his phone.

"Yes, Sir. What is the emergency?" Namjoon asked. His voice was a little sleepy.

"Get me fifty burger patties this instant. And while you're at it, get me another fridge. Don't forget the buns and the onions."

He hung up and looked at Jimin, who had burst out laughing.

"Oh, so you're laughing now." Yoongi chuckled.

"I didn't think you could be so adorable." Jimin hiccupped. He held tightly onto Yoongi's arm to stop himself from falling again. It was this moment, as Jimin's cheeks were plum coloured, his little giggles were melodic and Yoongi couldn't help but find himself smiling too much.

This was how they should have met.

So Yoongi couldn't help himself when he leaned forward, kissing Jimin. It was only meant to be a peck, but Jimin wrapped his arms around Yoongi's neck and their lips met again. Yoongi's breath was snatched away. He ran his tongue along Jimin's lip, asking for entrance, and when his gesture was responded with a soft moan, he couldn't help but grin. Jimin tasted so sweet, it was unbelievably erotic. He could feel Jimin's fangs drop, grazing his lip, and he knew he would be done for if he didn't stop now.

Yoongi moved away and had his eyes fixed onto the floor. Jimin was injured and all the things the Alpha wanted to do to him could hurt him more. He had to wait, but he was only able to exert this much self-control because Jimin was that important to him.

"I'm sorry." Yoongi mumbled.

"You're not." Jimin mused as he licked his lips dangerously.

And the thought crossed Yoongi once again. "Why don't you want to drink my blood?" He pulled his shirt down so Jimin could have a clear view of his neck.

Jimin gulped slowly, the temptation was brief in his eyes. He was quiet for a while. Until he spoke again. "Then I would be dependent on your blood."

The Alpha didn't know why that would be a bad thing. Was it bad to want your mate to want you? To be reliant on your existence? Most importantly, it sounded like Jimin had already planned to leave. But all Yoongi wanted was for him to stay.
