At first bi

Full bisexuality

Was just something comfy

A label I could hide behind while I only dated women and used the lesbian like a comma

To me

My bisexuality was just being a lesbian who watched straight porn

And I'd never date a cis man

But non binary people and ladies were welcome

But you see

To every rule there is an exception

And at some point in this universe every single thing meets its one equal or better

By that I mean the one entity that may test it

Leaving it either proved or changed anew

And he was that exception

Of course I never saw this coming

I was always going to be

Gay gay gay

Straight porn on weekends and when I'm all alone

Check out that guy but when no one will notice

This crush doesn't matter because I'm 90% not even straight

But it's not half gay half straight

And really on a technicality

Even if my main preference is women

I would still date non binary people, cis men and trans people

And I really know that now

I've always kind of fallen for the colour of their personality

And the kindness in their heart

Rather than for some set cut of a gender

But i never really

Really felt safe to say that

But you see he

Came in

And before I could even register it

This amazing person change my life

They made me realise that I can date

I can have the relationships I never thought I would

And I love any person for them as a person

And I knew before he told me

That in my mind

I'd love him no matter what

And I know now

I have a boyfriend

He is so fucking amazing

And handsome
And kind and loving
