It's nice to sit with you

In silence

But it's selfish

Because I'd rather be with someone who loves me

In a different way than you do

It's nice to chat with you

About casual little things

And polite banter

But I'd rather speak in depth

To someone who knows me

It's nice to relax with you

Sitting in the grass

But I'd rather be on someones lap

Or in a bed

Or on a couch

Cuddling someone who knows

All of me

It's nice to play games with you

Even when I lose

Especially when I win

But I'd rather be with someone who will touch me

In a different way

In places unbeknown

I'd rather dream to be somewhere

With someone who will keep me warm

Than speak

So excuse

My stares into the distance

Or my gazes at buildings

That ignore you

And your words

Just because I see myself  elsewhere

With someone

Sitting at the top of a hill

Or building rooftop

Even if its dangerous

Or cold

Especially when its raining

Because I love them

In any condition

And we'll just

Get to know each other

And I'll be with someone
