[Belle's POV]

"Belle!"

"Ano?!"

"Wow, good morning din sa'yo bitch."

I closed my eyes and let out a deep breath. Lahat na lang ng bagay nakakairita! Lahat na lang ng tao nakakainis! Pero ugh! Calm down Silva. Don't freaking take your frustrations out on your friend!

"What do you need Jade?" I tried again, this time medyo kalmado na. When I tried to steal a glance, Jade was already sliding down beside me on the couch, smirking as if she knew the answers to all my bitchiness.

"Bakit na naman mainit ang ulo ng bitchesang reyna?"

Sinandal ko ang ulo ko sa kaniyang balikat at muling nagbuntonghininga.

Noong isang araw halos nalibot na namin ni Gabby ang mga high-end malls sa paligid for the perfect gift that I could give to my Kendrick but I still came home crying. Miski sa online shops puro mediocre items lang ang mayroon, kayang-kayang bilhin ng kung sino man.

And now, gods—instead of doing all my post-Christmas rituals, a.k.a spa day and shopping, I've been stuck inside my condo and still figuring out how the hell I could surprise him with a unique gift. Pero parang wala talagang sasapat na gift para sa papabebe ko!

"What do you think is the best Christmas gift for a boyfriend?"

Jade cocked her eyebrow. "For Kendrick?"

Agad ko naman siyang inikutan ng mata. Duh. Sino pa ba ang boyfriend ko? 'Yung guwapong nerd lang naman.

"Hey," she said. "Don't be annoyed at me. Malay ko ba talagang seseryosohin mo 'yang si Kendrick. Hindi lang ako sanay may boyfriend ka outside our contracts okay? Chill." 

"I am chill," I retorted. "I'm just worried dahil tapos na nga ang pasko at wala pa rin akong regalo sa kaniya. Parang lahat naman kasi kaya niyang mabili. Come on, give me some ideas here, Jade. Help me."

Of course since first Christmas namin, hindi naman ako papayag na simpleng regalo lang. I needed something special and memorable. Hindi puwedeng basta lang may mairegalo.

"Magkikita ba kayo bukas?"

Tumango naman ako. "We planned to attend a Sunday mass, then we'll drive back to their house for their family gathering. Late ang Christmas party nila."

"Ipapakilala ka na sa buong angkan? At misa? Belle, ikaw ba 'yan? Baka mamiss ka na ng mga kaibigan mo sa impiyerno hindi kaya?"

Umirap ako at ngumuso. "I really don't want to spend my Christmas with other people except for him but Ken is such a family man. Hinahayaan ko lang kung anong gusto niya."

"Hmm," Jade clapped her hands, a conspiratorial smile creepily crept on her face. "What about Christmas sex?"

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko.
