It happens too often these days, parents getting separated. Jack and Corbyn hated to do it, but they knew it's for the best.

Jack decided to move back to Pennsylvania to be with his family. It would be a very long drive from LA.
Some things you can't tell your sister 'cause she's still too young
Xavier's little sister, Noel, also didn't understand. She's too young to. All she knows is that she won't see both dads at the same time.

Corbyn and Jack keep telling Xavier that he'll understand one day, but he wanted that day to be now.

Nothing's going to change with your old friends
All of the changes made Xavier think too much, what will happen with his friends? But his parents kept reassuring that nothing would change.

The fact that Xavier and Noel would only see Jack every month scared them. All of them.
