I shiver hard against the cold winter air. I'm currently walking through the woods with Vinny, and we are just going to casually walk along a trail.

He holds my hand as we walk, and I swear that my hand is the only warm part of me. But I digress.

Vinny looks down at me and I'm struck by how bright his green eyes are. He smiles, and I realize I'm grinning like an idiot at him. He doesn't seem to care, but I feel my cheeks warm in a blush. At least now I'm a little bit warmer, even if it's just because I'm blushing.

"Here," Vinny says. He slides one of his coats off and we stop walking. Before I can protest, he slides the pre-warmed jacket onto me. "There. That's better."

I beam up at him.

"But aren't you cold?"

He shakes his head. "Nope. I'm fine. But you, my love, were shivering. So I decided to be nice and help out."

"Well, I hope you know I'm keeping it," I say.

He smiles again. "Good. I hope it keeps you very warm during the cold months."

"I'm never taking it off."

He laughs. "I hope you will when you shower."

"Nope, not even then," I say jokingly.

He hugs me. "You're funny."

"Thanks, I'll be here all week."

"I'd hope so."

Then he kisses me. And I happily return it.
