Hey guys! I know it's been a minute since I've written anything. This is a new picture of Donte because I know people didn't really like the last one and I honestly didn't either. Anyways, enjoy!

We were standing outside of the curtains at JEC, only minutes away from performing and Jessica was starting to get cold feet. She nervously paced the floors, not knowing what to do with herself.

"Why is it so many people here? Who told my dad to have so many people come in?" She questions

"This is the normal amount, Jess," I tell her.

"Are you sure?"

"It's going to be okay, Jessica," Jazmine tells her, "We'll be right there with you."

Jessica nods, giving a small smile.

"Welcome everyone!" John greets. Jessica shrieks. "We're so glad to see you. All this week will be performances but your favorites. So put your hands together for Avenue!"

Avenue was the name we came up with for the group. We didn't know why we chose this name, but we liked the way it sounded.

The curtains opened and I quickly smacked some sense into Jessica before we were seen. That seemed to help because she was in her position ready to sing.

The music played and I started.

Jazmine: I be on the hot line like everyday, making sure the dj know what I want him to play, you know I got my top back and my beat low, rocking my stunner shades and turning up my radio, turn up my radio

All: I think I'm in love with my radio, 'cause it never lets me down, and I fall in love with my stereo, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound

Jada: You're the only one that papa allowed to hang out in my room with the door closed, we'd be alone, and mama never freaked out when she heard it go boom, 'cause she knew we were in the zone

Jazmine: Hold him in my arms and look out of my window

Jada and Jessica: Under the moonlight

Jazmine: And he'd be keeping me close, so I'd never let him go, he's got a place in my heart

All: I think I'm in love with my radio, 'cause it never lets me down, and I fall in love with my stereo, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound

Jessica: When I get into my car, I turn it up, then I hear vibrations all up in my trunk, and the bass line be rattling through my seats, then that crazy feeling starts happening

Jada: I get butterflies when I hear the dj

Jazmine and Jessica: Playing the stuff I like

Jada: And I fall deeper in love with every song he plays, he's got a place in my heart

All: I think I'm in love with my radio, 'cause it never lets me down, and I fall in love with my stereo, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound

Jessica: I be on the hot line like everyday, making sure the deejay know what I want him to play,

Jada and Jessica: You know I got my top back and my beat low, rocking my stunner shades and turning up my radio, turn up my radio

All: I think I'm in love with my radio, 'cause it never lets me down, and I fall in love with my stereo, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound, whenever I hear that sound

Everyone cheered, all of us gasping for air as we took a bow. The performances after that were just as good as the first ones we did. Jessica was getting more comfortable with performing and we could tell she was ready for the competition.

"We only have 2 days left until the competition here in Chicago," I tell the girls. "John said all our performances at JEC got great reviews and that we're more than ready to dominate the Chicago competition."

The girls both squealed and showed their excitement.

"Jessica," Caesar pops his head in. "You ready to go?"

"Ready for what?" Jessica asks.

"Oh, I set up a doctors appointment for you to check on the baby," I tell her. Jessica smiles,

"Awe, you guys didn't have to do that."

"Since Donte isn't here, we want to help as much as we can," Caesar tells her.

"Thank you," Jessica says.

We take her to the doctors and he says the baby is healthy and growing. We can't tell what the baby is until another few months.

"I think the baby will be a girl," Caesar says.

"You're only saying that because you wanted girls."

Caesar pouts with a smile.

"I honestly want a girl," Jessica says. "But Donte wants a boy."

"I want a little nephew," I say.

"You have Carter. You need another one?"

"We don't need any girls in this family. All ya'll niggas is crazy and let them even say that word boy and ya'll on some shit."

"That is true," Jessica adds, "You, Huey, Riley, and Donte are all kinda crazy."

"We're just protective," Caesar says with an eye roll.

"Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night."

Going home, I felt a little nauseous. My whole body shivered as the smell off something awful filled my nostrils.

"What is that??!" I question. I run to the bathroom throwing up the lunch I had.

"Babe, you alright?" Caesar asks, coming into the bathroom.

"Um... I don't know, I just felt so sick from that-" I hurled again, the smell coming back. "What is that?"

"Riley's making fried chicken," Caesar says, rubbing my back. "But you've never been sick from smelling it before."

"I don't know but it smell awful."

Caesar sniffs the air.

"It smells fine to me."

I cough, wondering what's making me feel this way. Then it hits me.
