“….Everybody’s trying to be a billionaire, but every time I look at you I just don’t care, cause all I wanna be, all I ever wanna be is somebody to you.”

“I used to run around, I didn’t wanna settle down, but now I wake each day, looking for a way that I can see your fa…..”

“Can you two shut up?”

Startled I looked up from where I sat hunched over a notebook, scribbling down lyrics while Luke strummed away at the guitar, to where Michael was playing xbox.

“We’re writing mikey.” Luke said slowly.

“I don’t care, that song sucks ass.” Michael snapped, “It’s about as Punk Rock as your stupid puppy dog face.”

“Damn,” Jess muttered, entering the room while eating a gogurt.

“What?” Michael grumbled.

“Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today,” she replied, with a mouthful before plopping down on the ground next to Calum, Charlie and Destiny who were One Direction parody videos.

“I haven’t actually,” Michael snapped, “I was in a perfectly good mood until Luke dropped his plate and got egg in my boots.”

“I said I was sorry!” Luke cried.

“You also set your alarm for four instead of six.”

“I forgot about the time diff….”

“You got water all over the bathroom when you showered and I almost slipped and broke my neck trying to take a piss!”

“I thought I cleaned it up!”

“Did you? Because all you did was somehow manage to get my towel soaking wet and gross without actually cleaning up anything!”

“Geez Michael, I’m sure it was an accident.” Calum sighed.

“Well then why don’t you room with him!” Michael cried, “It’s like having a kid!”

Biting his lip Luke set down his guitar.

“GroupieProblemsNight trended last night! I still get DMs of Destiny’s boobs! I have no clean underwear because Luke took them all and I’m so jet lagged I poured orange juice in my cereal! I’m allowed to be cranky!”

“I don’t know, you have it pretty good,” Charlie mumbled, “I mean people are like starving in Africa.”

“I hate when people say that.” Jess muttered.

“Why?” Charlie asked.

Squeezing the last of the yogurt for the tube Jess sighed.

“Did you judge people for being happy?”

“Um, no,” Charlie said slowly.

“Well then why in the hell would you judge them for being sad.” Jess replied, “They don’t want to be sad, I’m sure they’d love to be happy it’s not exactly something you can just control like a light switch! Rich people are sad sometimes and poor people are happy, who in the hell is anyone else to judge?”

Swallowing nervously I looked around the room and found everyone staring at Jess wide eyed.

“Where did that come from?” Calum asked.

“Forget it,” she sighed, rising to her feet.

“Wait where are you going?” Luke asked.

“I have a phone conference.” She muttered, leaving the room.
