Zayum, part 80. I normally give books up by like chapter ten so let's set of some imaginary fireworks shall we?

“What’s wrong with Destiny?” I demanded.

“Why do you give a shit?” Calum snapped.

“Calum,” Luke sighed.

“Fuck!” Michael cried, slamming his phone down on the table.

“What is going on?” Jess demanded.

“Nothing,” Michael muttered, picking up his phone and tapping away at it madly.

“Mikey?” Luke pressed.

“It’s Regina.” Michael snapped.

“As in your former step mom?” I asked.

“No, as in the dutch porn star, yes as in my former step Mom!”

“Well, what’s wrong with her?” Luke asked.

“I guess she’s getting bad again,” Michael said, pulling at his hair.

“What do you mean?” Charlie asked.

“It’s none of you business.” He replied, leaving the room.

“Damn,” Jess muttered.

“I’d talk to him but I’m legit worried he’ll hit me.” Luke mumbled.

“Yeah no, I’m not going.” Calum muttered.

“Well I can’t go,” Jess said.

“Why not?” Destiny asked.

“That’ll look skanky.” She answered.

“Yeah, she’s not wrong.” Calum sighed, “Ashton, look like it’s you.”

“Why me?” I cried.

“Cause, Destiny is your ex so you should go look all concerned and shit.” Calum replied.

“Ohhh, yeah,” Jess said slowly, “You kind of have to go.”

“Says who?” I cried.

“Ashton, do you want me to go with you?” Charlie sighed.

“No,” I mumbled, rising to my feet, “That’s okay.”

“Be confident, he can smell your fear.” Calum informed me.

“But not too confident, then you’ll come off as a jerk.” Jess added.

“Right, confident but not to confident.” I repeated, making  my way to the door.

“If he tries to punch  you, just run, he won’t chase you!” Luke called after me.

Sighing, I slipped through the door and immediately fell flat on my face.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Michael demanded.

Looking over and finding him sitting on the floor in his socks, his boots being the object I had tripped over I sat up slowly.

“Um, hi,” I mumbled, “I mean…uh are you…are you okay?”

Frowning Michael shook his head, “What?”

“Well,” I said slowly, “You said Regina was getting bad or something and Destiny and like…. What’s going on?”

Sighing, Michael rested his head against the wall, “You know how I told you before that sometimes I had to go over to Destiny’s because she needed help with Regina.”
