Dylan's POV

I had just opened a beer when there was a frantic knock on the door. Confused, I put my beer on the counter, walked out of the kitchen and headed towards the door. When I opened it, I gasped when I saw Y/N with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Y/N? You okay?" I asked.

"He knows," she gasped out.

"Who knows what, baby?" I asked reaching for her hand and pulling her inside.

"Tyler."

My heart dropped into my stomach. Part of me wanted to freak out that my best friend now knew I was sleeping with his sister, but that immediately went away when I saw how scared and upset Y/N was.

I pulled her into my chest and rubbed circles on her back. "It's going to be okay," I whispered.

"How do you know that?" She asked, pulling away.

I reached up and caught a tear with my thumb. "Because I love you."

"Dylan, I might lose my brother."

"You're not going to lose him," I said as my heart sank.

"But, I don't want to lose you either," she stuttered. "I. . . I don't want to have to chose between the two of you. I can't. . . I won't."

"You're not going to lose me. Ever," I said cupping both of her cheeks. "Come here," I said grabbing her hand and leading her to the couch.

"We aren't going to make you chose between us. Tyler just needs to cool off. He's your brother and he loves you. He'll realize he was being an ass and he'll come looking for you to apologize and make sure he doesn't lose the best sister in the world."

"We should have told him when it happened," she whispered as she looked at our intertwined hands.

"Maybe," I shrugged. I put my finger under her chin and made her look at me. "No matter what he would have said or done, nothing would have stopped me from being with you. I love you, Y/N Posey."

"I love you too, Dylan O'Brien." She leaned in and pressed her lips to mine. I smiled as our lips moved in sync.

We pulled apart when their was a knock at my front door. I kissed Y/N's forehead before standing up and opening the door. I wasn't surprised to see Tyler standing on the other side, breathless. I opened my mouth to explain, but he cut me off.

"Is she here?" He said, trying to catch his breath. "She ran out and when I tried to chase after her, she was gone. Is she here? Is she okay? Please tell me she is here."

"Tyler," I cut him off. I opened the door a little more so he could see Y/N on the couch. "She's here."

I opened the door all the way so he could come in as he looked at Y/N who was clutching a pillow to her chest, biting her lip.

"Can I come in?" He hesitated to ask.

"Of course, man." I nodded as I stepped aside so he could come in. He hesitated before walking in.

"Y/N?" He said, softly. She looked over her shoulder at him as tears streamed down her cheeks. Tyler walked around the couch and knelt in front of her.

"Y/N/N, I am so sorry for yelling at you. I shouldn't. . . I shouldn't have said those things. I didn't mean any of them. You're my baby sister and I love you. Of course I want you to be happy."

"I'm sorry, Ty." She said, softly. "We. . . I should've told you sooner. I should have told you the truth. We weren't trying to go over your head or lie to you. We just. . . I love him and I know he loves me too."

He looked between Y/N and I before smiling. "If you're happy with Dylan, then I'm happy too. I mean, I should be happy that my sister fell in love with my best friend."

"We really are sorry for lying to you, man." I said walking over to them. Tyler stood up and turned towards me.

"You don't have to apologize," he said shaking his head. "I shouldn't have over-reacted like I did. You two are my two favorite people in the world. I just want you guys to be happy."

He turned back to Y/N, grabbed her hand, helping her stand up. "And Y/N, I have always been protective of you. I want my little sister to meet a guy who loves her and would go to the end of the earth to make her happy. I know Dylan would do just that."

"So, you're okay with this? With me and Dylan?"

"Of course I'm okay with it!" Tyler laughed. "My best friend and my little sister!"
