Prompt: While out on an adventure y/n and y/bf find something amazing

"Come on, y/n, let's go," y/bf whined, waiting at the bottom of the stairs for you.

"Coming!" you called back, running down the stairs.

Today, you and y/bf had decided to go on a little adventure in the mountains, with the intention of finding the hidden falls, a beautiful waterfall known to only a few.

"Lets go!" you exclaimed, grabbing y/bf's hand and pulling him towards the car.

Y/bf chuckled and followed you to the car, taking the driver's seat.
As you drove up the scenic canyon, you couldn't help but smile, imagining the adventure the two of you would have today. Soon, y/bf turned off the main road onto a small dirt path.

"Does this look good for some adventuring?" y/bf asked, parking the car.

"It looks perfect; let's go!" you agreed, jumping out of the car.

"Someone's excited," y/bf laughed, following you up the path.

The path was shaded by trees and shrubs, providing a pleasant escape from the sun.

"This is beautiful," you gasped, taking in the stunning scenery.

"It is," he replied, looking over at you.

"I meant the trees!"

"Oh, they are pretty beautiful too," he smirked, reaching out for your hand.

Taking his hand, you both continued your walk, searching for the falls. After a few more minutes, you heard the loud rushing of water, signaling that the waterfall was nearby.

"We're almost there! Let's go!" y/bf exclaimed, running while holding your hand.

You couldn't help but laugh, watching your excited boyfriend pull you the final few feet to the waterfall.

"We did it!"

"If only we brought our swimsuits! We could have gone for a swim."

"Well, lucky for you, I planned ahead," y/bf smirked, pulling a backpack from his shoulders.

From the bag, he retrieved both your swimsuits.

"You're amazing," you complimented, taking your bathing suit from his hands.

"I know," he smirked, earning a playful eye-roll from you.

"Where are we supposed to change?" you asked, looking around for some sort of cover.

"We could just change here," y/bf suggested, making you laugh.

"Nice try, but I'm going to change behind those trees," you laughed, with y/bf pretending to pout.

After changing, you met back up with y/bf, looking for the best way to climb down to the pool of water.

"How are we supposed to get down there?" you questioned, scanning for any sort of path.

"We could just climb down those rocks," y/bf suggested, pointing to a steep path of rocks.

"I don't know; it looks a little steep," you observed, nervously eyeing the rocks.

"It's okay; I'll help you," y/bf smiled, taking your hand.

He carefully led you over to the rocks, descending slowly before assisting you. Halfway down the path, you lost traction and stumbled, but y/bf was right beside you, preventing you from falling.

"Are you alright?" he asked, clearly concerned.

"I'm okay, thanks for saving me," you said, dusting off your knees.

"I'll always be here to catch you when you fall."

"You're so cheesy," you groaned, leaving him laughing.

Without any more accidents, you finally made it to the water, immediately jumping into the refreshing pool.

"This is so relaxing," you sighed, floating on your back.

"This is our new date spot," y/bf informed, floating next to you.

"Deal."

As you floated around the pool, you suddenly felt water splash on your face. Looking up, you saw y/bf, guiltily smiling.

"Did you just splash me?" you asked, wiping the water from your face.

"Maybe," he smirked, splashing you again.

"Oh, you're going down," you smirked, lunging at y/bf.

Once you grabbed him, you pushed his shoulders down, sinking his head underwater. Y/bf grabbed your ankle underwater, pulling you under with him, his arms wrapping around your waist to keep you close to him.

"Ahh, that's freezing!" you shouted, coming up for air.

"It's not that bad," y/bf laughed.

The two of you continued to play in the water until the sun started to sink below the horizon, signaling it was time to go.

"That was so much fun," you smiled, wrapping yourself in your towel.

"You could say that again!" y/bf exclaimed, his towel already wrapped around him.

Walking hand in hand to the car, the sun finally dipped behind the mountains, leaving the once beautiful sky dark. Getting in the car, y/bf turned on the heat before beginning the drive home.

From that moment on, you and y/bf would hike up to that spot as much as you could, cherishing your new adventure-filled date spot.
