You found yourself engrossed in a captivating novel your friend had recommended. Initially, you had your doubts, but now, you were utterly absorbed in its pages. The plot had reached its peak, with tension building across chapters, promising an impending resolution. As you delved deeper into the book's world, you almost missed the soft sound of your boyfriend, y/bf's, voice.

"Is it getting good?" he inquired, casually leaning against the door frame.

You nodded, your gaze still fixed on the words that held you captive.

"Hey, y/n."

You sighed and looked up from the book.

"I could really use a cuddle buddy," he said, flashing a playful smirk while opening his arms wide.

You set your book aside and smiled, teasingly rolling your eyes.

"Of course. Come here, you big dork." You extended your arms toward him.

Without hesitation, he practically leaped onto the bed, wrapping his arms snugly around your waist and resting his head on your abdomen.

"What's got you in such a cuddly mood tonight?" you inquired, your fingers gently running through his hair.

"Do I need a reason to cuddle my beautiful girlfriend?" he responded, his eyes gazing up at your face.

You couldn't help but let out a soft laugh.

"Of course not."
