Still as Water

“Sh’e speaks.”  I looked over the doctor shoulder, and saw a very tall, very Caribbean man walk in. I think he was Carribean,, I don’t even know how I remembered  that..

I looked him over. He looked harsh but he could also be kind. I repeated what I said before.

“Yes, she speaks, and  she is Ally Sane, and I am an Unwanted. Who sir are you, and where the heck am I.” I smiled feeling proud of myself that at least I remembered who I was and still had some fire left in me.

The man grinned. “Good you have your wits about you, but I wouldn’t repeat that little last part around here.”

I looked at the doctor who nodded. “Yes, Ally do not mention to anyone that you are a Sane.”

I looked at the both of them and scowled. I pulled the sheets off of me and layed my feet down in the cold floor. “Ally don’t! Your not ready!” the doctor said coming over to me but I stopped her.

“The hell I am not! Just wait..let me see if I can do this..please.” I said pleading. The doctor looked at my eyes and nodded.

I smiled and slowly wiggle my toes. Slowly I can feel them again and then I pushed up. One second I was standing, but then I felt my legs get weak and I held on to the cot for support.

This time the Caribbean man came over to me. I waved him off and he backed away,. I took a deep breathe and tried again.

This time I was standing and I couldn’t help but smile. “You didn’t answer my question,why can’t I tell anyone I am Sane?”

The doctor looked at the being man who just nodded. The doctor sighed. “Your father owns this island Ally, its been in your family for generations.”

I looked at her confused. My father..slowly a headache came and this one hurt. I held onto my head as I was plunged into another memory.

“However first give me your hands,’ a man said and when I looked closer It clicked. Mr.Lucain..dad..dad. He was the one that awakened me.

I came back to reality. “Lucian Sane…my father.” I said outloud and could feel the tears stream down feeling happy that I finally found out who my dad is. But where is he now.

Another headache came and this one I couldn’t stop. I closed my eyes and let the images come.

            “Ally!” I heard dad scream and he came in front of me with a mirror of water ,that was blocking the fireballs that was coming from the otherside. I couldn’t see who was behind the other side though.

I could feel someone drag me away from him, but I couldn’t see who either. “Wait.” I saw my say ,but dad just smiled. “I Love you Ally,” and he drop the wall and the fireballs came at him that were coming from Natalie..

I took in a deep breathe as I came back into reality. My dad as dead, and was killed my best friend..Natalie. Natalie was an Unwant to and she controlled Fire..What the heck went on in my life… I couldn’t help but cry more.

The doctor and the man surrounded me patting my back. “Where is Mr. Sane, Ally?” I looked up into his hazel eyes. “He is dead,” and went back to look at the floor.

I could feel him get up, and when I looked up he was crying and when I looked to the doctor so was she.

Slowly,,I started to think. “You knew him?” I asked. The man looked back at me and smiled. “Yess, Ally, we both knew yo’ur fath’er, he was a go’od man. He told us he  might not co’me back after he left to go look for you, so he ga’ve me this.

The man opened a drawer and pulled out a letter. “He told us to give it to you if you ev’er came here.”

The man handed me and the letter and I took it. The doctor was crying but she nodded and ripped it open.

Dearest Ally,

 Before I left to if you and awaken you, I was gifted with having had vision. I do know how you do it but they hurt like hell, I’ll say that. Anyway they showed me everything that will happen and I knew I will die, by your friend Natalie. They also showed me you will not remember anything, but believe your memories will come back.

Natalie was controlled to kill me so do not think of getting revenge. When you get your memoires back you will realize that to. This island is called Water, weird I knew but its fitting. In this letter I also leave you my will. The island is yours. Stay here till you are ready. Jacques, or Shelby will look after you, and I left someone in charge that I trust of the island right now, Kohl. Just show him the will and he will step down, if you want to control the Island, but if not it is fine.. I trust Kohl, we will keep the island running.

 Finally Ally, please  please ,please just hang in there. Your memories will come back. We never forget the things we love, I promise you that.”

                I read the leter again, again. Especially the last line. We never forget the things we love..but how about if I did.

            The tears slowly stopped and I actually thought to look to see if they were still were there,witnessing all of this.

            She was as well as Jacques. “Thank you, for keeping this.” I said holding onto the letter to the both of them.

            They nodded and I saw that they stopped there tears to. “Lucian would have wanted it.”Shelby said. I smiled and got up.

            Jacques came over to help me up and I took his help. “Thank you.” He smiled. “So where is Kohl?”  I asked wanting to introduce myself.

            However the reaction I got for them was off. Instead of being happy there faces went grim.

           Shelby was just about to speak when there was a loud knocking on the door. They didn’t even wait for a reply, and opened the door.

         A man walked in with a gun strapped to his shoulder. He looked like he was  in the military, but his face showed no scars, rather it was smooth. Behind him was scrawny kids, all ratty and looking  like they were going to die.

            The man looked at me and smiled. His teeth a pearly white. He looked up to Jacques and his face got series. “She is awake, why hasn’t she been sent to the slave’s barracks?”
