LAURENS POV
Michael talks a lot about his new flat as we walk around.
"I sold my old one and my parents gave me some money, I found this flat right near a town about an hour away. it looks nice, I'll get a mortgage as well so I can stay there rather than renting , and I don't know, it just seems better. I'll find a job down the town and just live each day as it comes I guess." he smiles into the distance.
what about me
"seems cool." I say bluntly.
"yeah, I'm so excited." he replies.
we begin to walk back to the train station, he continues telling me about how he can't wait to decorate the flat with the money his parents have given him and how he's going to have a game room and have parties, I listen briefly.
we sit on the train silently, Michael tapping his fingers against the window as I think about what I'm going to do.
