Dreaming

Pretending
Hiding in plain sight
Afraid maybe

Of many things

I know you would do anything

Without a purpose
Thoughts sprinkled here and there

When I'm shaking and scared
And the silence is too much to bear
Won't you tell me you need me
Trapped inside a box
Surrounded on all sides
Help me find some sense of solace

I put my trust in you now

Don't let it be for nothing
Faith and loss
Hope and sadness
Combined efforts
Not a lost cause
A way out
The futures yours for the taking
