Fading away
From her mind
Just a song
Trapped inside
Wanting to be let out
Just music
Wanting
To be acknowledged
To be written down,
Heard
By someone
But it never was,
It never did
Because she was
Too afraid
Too fearful
Of what might happen
If she made a dream a reality
If she poured those sounds out
Instead of keeping them in
