Bruises and cuts and disfigurations
Scratches and scars
Don't make you ugly
They're just proof
Of what you've lived through
What's inside
How you treat others
Yourself
Your choices
Really determines who you are on the inside
Pretty on the outside
Beautiful surface deep-
That doesn't make you a good person
Whatever you look like-
You're still lovely
No matter what
Promise
Pain makes you stronger
And feeling it
Feeling flawed
Doesn't make you weak
