Flashback, 2 weeks ago.
''So, is final... They have them.'' I said pressing my fist on top of the table, looking at Derek's eyes, breathing heavy.
Derek clenched his jaw. ''Yeah.''
I started walking, passing next to Peter, I grab an old chair then smack it against the ground, breaking it into pieces. The alpha pack have them, they had them all this months. ''What are we gonna do?'' I ask turning around to Derek.
''Keep looking, till we find them.'' Derek replied
''Any thoughts where to start? We have searched this whole town and we can't find them, not even by sent.'' I told Derek very serious.
''They have to change them...'' Peter commented
I sighed exasperated and walked out of Derek's loft.
End of flashback, present day.
The last couple of weeks we have been looking for Boyd and Erica. Between those search's spree, I manage to move out of my little apartment to a new bigger loft. I bought new things for the place, like a dinner table, another couch, the place has two bedroom but this are so much bigger, both of them have individuals bathrooms. I picked the one with two bedroom for the nights Isaac stays in.
But now I'm searching for my high heels black boots to go with my outfit. Summer is over and today's the first day of school. Which I am not stocked about but I'm going anyway. ''Jackpot!'' I exclaim when I found my boots, put them on and grabbed my bag, keys and walk out of my loft. On my way to school I started thinking about Isaac, haven't seen him and I don't know why I am worried... and have this bad feeling. I shook my head and ran my hand through my hair, maybe that's my mind playing games with me and I see him at the school. I parked my truck in the school's parking lot, next to Stiles jeep and by coincidence.
I'm at my locker looking for my English text book when I felt two bodies behind me.
''Hi Stiles, Scott-'' I greet them turning around, both of them stand in front of me. ''what do you want?''
''I wanted to ask if you knew how Derek got his tattoo?'' Scott asked me
I turned, grab my book, closed the locker and turn again. ''I have no idea, you should ask him.''
''But you're in his pack.'' Stiles added
''Yeah but is not like we sit around a bonfire and talk about ourselves.''
Stiles narrow his eyes and gave me a flat look.
''Okay, I will call him later and ask.'' Scott told me and started to walk
He's going in the direction I have to go, so I kept walking next to Stiles.
''Why are you following us?'' Stiles ask
''I'm not following neither of you, I have English at first period.'' I told him and walked into the class room. I sat down and Stiles sat behind me, Scott sat to his right and Lydia to his left. There was only one space left and it was in front of McCall, Allison looked around the classroom before sitting in front of him. ''Awkward.'' I mutter to myself, then lean back and wait for the teacher to walk in.
Suddenly all the phone started ringing, vibrating, even mine. I pick it up and there was a text from an unknown phone number.
''The offing was barred by a black bank of clouds and the trankled waterway to the uttermost end of the earth flowed somber under an overcast sky seemed to lead-into the heart of an immense darkness.'' An woman entered the room as she read, stopping by the center of it. ''This is the last line of the first book we're going to read, is also the last text you'll receive in this class, phones off, everyone.'' she said and turn to write her name in the chalkboard. Mrs. Blake
''I don't like her.'' I whisper under my breath.
''You don't like anyone.'' Stiles whisper back
I rolled my eyes, then change my look to her. There's something about her, I don't know what it is... but there's something. The first assignment she gave us is to read the first chapter of the text book and complete the questions below it.
About 10 minutes later, the door open but I didn't paid attention to it, until the Mrs. Blake called Scott to the front. He grabbed his stuff and walked out with her, in that moment my phone ringed. I gaze at the door, making sure the teacher was still giving us the back, I turned and pick up.
''Hello?'' I said looking to the floor
''Katherine? Is Melissa, Scott's mother.'' she sounds very anxious and nervous.
''What's wrong?''
''Isaac is at the hospital and have big wounds. He told me to call Derek but he's not answering so he said I called you and my son.'' she said quickly
I looked at Stiles and by his look I knew my face said I was worried. ''I'm on my way.''
''What's wrong?'' he asked
''Isaac.'' I told him, turned and grabbed my stuff before standing up and walk to the door.
In that moment Mrs. Blake turned, blocking my way. ''Going anywhere, Ms...?''
''Katherine and matter fact, yes, is an emergency.'' I told her and went to walk but she didn't move
''Well.. if is an emergency your parents would call and notice it.'' she respond
I rolled my eyes. ''I don't have parents, they're both death.''
''Then why the hurry? what's your emergency?'' she asked, keeping her 'You aren't going anywhere' face expression.
I sighed. ''Is one called, non of your business and I will appreciate if you moved, so I can go.''
Her jaw dropped a littble bit. ''The only place you're going is detention.''
I chuckle. ''I don't think so.'' I said before passing her
''If you walk out of this class room you're gonna be in detention for the rest of this year.'' she warned.
I was about to walk out but I turned, in the most sassy way that could be. ''Look, Ms. Blake, my brother is in the hospital right now. And I'm pretty sure that by my extreme not bother face, you already know I don't give a crap if you send me to detention for a whole god damn year.'' I snap at her, turned and open the door, which I slammed it shut on my way out. I ran all the way out of the school and drove the fast as I could to the hospital.
Once there I heard growls in the 4 floor, went I went to use the elevator it was going up. So I took the stairs. Once there I saw how Derek pulled a big werewolf from the elevator. I ran there to see Scott in the floor and Isaac at a wheelchair.
''Aren't you suppose to be in school?'' Derek ask looking at Scott, then he looked at me, ''And you?''
I sighed, I got here late. We grab Isaac out of the hospital and drove to Derek's old house in the woods. Derek place Isaac unconscious body on top of a table and went to the floor to look for something. I reach Isaac side.
''You don't still live here? do you?'' Scott ask Derek
I raise my head to see them.
''No, the county took it over but there's something here that I need. It helps to heal a wound of an alpha.'' Derek said
''Yeah but it did heal.'' Scott commented getting closer to Isaac.
''Not in the inside.'' Derek said and grabbed some plants
''Hey you can't tell me who that was back then? the alpha?'' Scott asked him
''The rival pack, that's my problem.'' Derek said, ''I know you wanna help and you did, I owe you one.'' he stand up, ''now go home, go back to be a teenager.''
Derek reached the table and started to take the flowers out of the plant.
''Uh, hey Derek.. if you wanna re-pay that favor now... there's something you can do for me.'' Scott told Derek, with his hand placed at his arm.
Derek looked at me, brooding. I breathed in. ''He wants a tattoo. I'm gonna go to your place and grab some clothes for Isaac.'' I told them before walking out of the house.

I was gone about 30 minutes, when I walked in, Stiles was here. Scott was sitting shirtless in front of Derek, who was staring at Scott arm.
''Two bands right?'' Derek asked Scott, Scott nod and Derek hummed.
I place the bag of close next to Isaac and look at him, he's still asleep. I lean against the table, crossing my legs and arms. Paying attention to Derek and Scott conversation.
''What is it mean?'' Derek asked
''I don't know... is just something I trace with my fingers.'' Scott replied, tracing it with his fingers on top of a dusty table.
Derek changed his sight from the table to Scott. '''Why is so important to you?''
''Do you know what the word 'tattoo' means?'' Scott asked
''To mark something.'' I replied, Derek sight at me and went back to Scott.
''Well.. that's in Tahitian, in Simone it means 'open wound', I knew I wanted to get a tattoo when I turned 18, always wanted one. But I want it now, to make it kind of a reward.'' Scott explained
''For what?'' Derek asked
''For not calling or texting Allison this whole summer. Even when I really wanted to, even when is so hard not to sometimes. Trying to give her the space she wants but then four months later, still hurts, still first like a....''
''Open wound.'' Stiles finish Scott sentence
Scott look at him an nod. ''Yeah.''
I felt bad for him, he's really in love with Allison and he it must feel like hell with out her.
Derek grabbed the equipment. ''The pain is gonna be worse than anything you ever felt.'' he warn Scott.
''Do it.'' Scott replied, determined to get this tattoo.
Derek torch it up, and hold the flame.
''That's my queue, I will wait outside.'' Stiles said walking behind Derek but Derek hold him up.
''Nope, I need help holding him down.'' Derek said
''You have Katherine, she can hold him down.'' Stiles snap
I raise my eyebrows.
''I need both of you.'' Derek said
I sighed and stood behind Scott with my hands holding the upper part of his arm. When Derek started, Scott started to scream of pain. Stiles and me hold him with all our strength, Scott even half transformed as he kept screaming and groaning in pain, till he fainted. After a while Derek finished and we waited till Scott awake.
I walked back to Isaac and look at Scott's arm. ''There goes my desire to have one of my own.''
''You wanted a tattoo?'' Stiles ask me
''Yeah, well... when I founded something meaningful enough.'' I replied and kept my eyes on Isaac, why he hasn't woken up?.
The one who woke up was Scott, he thanked Derek, put his shirt back on and started to walk out with Stiles. ''You painted the door? Why did you paint the door?'' Scott asked Derek.
Derek glance at him and shook his head. ''Go home Scott.'' that was before I heard Scott's claws scratching the door. ''Scott!'' Derek shouted and reach him, I followed but it was late, Scott already had scratch the door and leave the symbol for the alpha pack uncovered.
''How many are of them?'' Scott asked
''A pack of them.'' Derek replied, with his arms crossed and tense.
I sighed and added, ''An alpha pack.''
''All of them? how that even work?'' Stiles asked
''I heard there's some kind of a leader, his called; Dukalian.'' Derek replied ''We know they have Boyd and Erica.''
''Peter, Isaac, Derek and I, been looking for them for the past four months.'' I added
Scott step closer to us. ''So, you find them. How do you deal with an alpha pack?''
''With all the help we can get.'' Derek replied
''Where's she? Where's the girl?'' We all heard Isaac voice in the background and turned to him instantly.
I reached his side in seconds, relief he woke up. ''What girl? What happened to you? Are you okay?''
Isaac stare at all of us, confused. ''I'm okay but the girl.''
''What girl?!'' Derek asked, ''Where were you?''
''I-I don't remember... they, they stole my memories.'' Isaac replied
''Who stole your memories?'' I ask
Isaac stare at me. ''I don't remember.''
After that Scott and Stile leaved, I gave Isaac his clothe and waited with Derek. ''Do you think the alpha who caught him stole his memories?'' I ask Derek, almost whispering.
Derek nod. ''I'm sure of it.''
''How is that even possible?'' I ask
Derek flashed his claws out, I looked at them. ''With their claws, an alpha can steal memories from a beta or omega. But I have an idea on how to get them back.''
''What idea?'' Isaac asked joining us again.
''Peter, he knows how to.'' Derek replied
I look at Derek and pinch eyebrows. ''Why him?!''
''He knows how to do it. Let's get out of here.'' With that Derek walked out of the house.
Isaac follow him and I follow Isaac but hold his arm. ''Are you okay? I was worried.''
Isaac nod. ''I almost finish healing, see you tomorrow at Derek's?''
''Yeah, see you there.''
We parted separate ways and I went back to my loft. This wasn't the first they of school I thought but at least Isaac is fine, less some memories but fine.
