mattia's pov
i get back into my car and drive the three of us back to my house.
"dad?" i shout as we enter the living room. "we're home."
*keep in mind they're rich as fuck*
"hey mattia," he says walking down the stairs with alejandro and kairi's dad.
"dad you're here," kairi said. (kairi's dad's name: Stefano)
"i didn't know you were joining us," alejandro said walking up to his dad (Luis).
"well when Giacomo (mattia's dad) told us he got you all to go to an actual high school we had to come see for ourselves," Luis laughed. "nice backpacks."
"did you guys get what we asked for," stefano asked.
"yes sir," i reply and taking out the file from my backpack.
my dad takes it from me and opens in with luis and stefano.
"good old days," my dad said smiling.
"where's the picture?" luis asked.
alejandro kairi and i looked each other.
"picture?" alejandro asked, confused.
"yeah uh," stefan said rubbing his chin, "there was suppose to be a picture of a cobra in here."
"we didn't see anything," i tell them.
"hm i'm sure it's not important," my dad said.
"well we can go back right now and get it," kairi offered.
"uh sure why not?" stefano said. "we might need it later."
my dad and luis nod.
here we go again.
at school
"are you sure our dads said it's suppose to be here?" alejandro asked looking around the hole. "i don't see shit."
kairi and i double check and he's right, there's nothing else there.
i take out my phone and call my dad.
mattia: dad there's nothing here.
dad: are you sure ?
mattia: positive.
dad: (sighs) okay then. just leave it.
mattia: alright.
"my dad said to just leave it," i tell them.
they shrug and we head back home.
"i gotta go get ready," i said.
"for?" kairi asked.
"i asked y/n out on a date."
"and she actually said yes?" alejandro asked, shocked. "damn, have fun. don't forget we have to accompany our dads to the docks later tonight."
"i'll be back in time," i assure him.
y/n's pov
*while mattia and alejandro went back to school*
"ow," mike said. "your punches actually hurt now."
he swings at me but i duck. "i have a good trainer," i said referring to himself.
mike bends down and kicks my legs, knocking me on my back.
"ow," i groan.
"you need to work on your footwork a little bit more," mike tells me, holding his hand out.
i grab his hand and he pulls me back up onto my feet.
"sorry," i apologize.
"you seem distracted," mike points outs, "what's wrong."
"i have a date tonight, and i can't stop thinking about it," i confess.
"you can't let a boy distract you. never let your guard down," mike reminds me.
"i know i know," i say. "come on, let's go another round." i say squaring up.
mike chuckles and we train for another hour.

after i shower, i head to my closet and choose an outfit for tonight
after looking for 30 minutes, i found a maroon dress and decided to wear that

i walk downstairs to my living room and wait for him
"hey i gotta go somewhere tonight," mike says. "you're gonna be okay when you get back?"
"yeah i'll be fine. where you going?" i ask.
"just handling some business."
"okay.."

mattia's here.
"my date's here, i gotta go," i say walking to the door. "bye love you."
"love you kiddo, bye. stay safe," mike shouted.
i close the door and turn around and saw mattia sitting in a back of the car. man this kid has his own driver too.
he rolls the down the window. "damn mamas," he says looking me up and down.
mattia gets out of the car and holds the door open for me.
"thank you," i smile as i slide into the car.
"my pleasure." he gets into his car and tells his driver, "hey, take us to my favorite restaurant please— you know which one."
he puts his arm around my waist, making me smile and we head to the restaurant.
