"So... What exactly are they doing to you?" Grace said to an amused Hazel as she paced the room.

"Artificial impregnation." The younger woman shrugged, well aware of the fact that her wife would require a longer explanation.

"Hazel, we have been married for two years and together since you were barely fucking out of puberty. You know I will not let some N.S. science goon shove God knows what up my wife's vagina without knowing more than just 'it's artificial impregnation'." Grace glared at the now laughing woman.

"Yes, Grace, I know you, of all people, do not joke about the vitality of my sexual organs." The black haired woman laughed teasingly. "But, since I also know you are not kidding about letting anyone else near my lower half: what is done, in short, is you-" she grabbed her wife by the waist and pulled her in, planting a kiss on her shoulder, "-stop pouting at me and donate an egg cell. Then they take one from me. They manually join the two cells and take out the organelles that are not needed so that you have one perfectly functional and artificially fertile egg cell, and then they put it right back into whoever wants to carry it."

"Wait- was that why you were trying to shove one of your science tubes up my vagina while I was asleep?!" Grace whirled around and gave her wife's shoulders a gentle shove.

"No. That was for fun." Hazel shrugged with a betraying smirk. "I was trying to make it a surprise when I actually told you why I did it. You were talking about wanting a kid, so I did what I do best and scienced. Hopefully you actually want a child and I didn't waste three weeks of my life and ten minutes of a night on the couch." She rolled her eyes.

"Wait, so..."

"So, happy birthday, would you like to spend nine months with me being moody and hormonal, and then the rest of our lives working our asses off to pay for our child's college?" She put her arms out like she was doing a big reveal and gave her wife a hopeful smile she found absolutely adorable.

"Holy fuck, yes, that sounds amazing!" Grace jumped onto her wife, wrapping her arms and legs around the younger woman and squeezing until she was almost afraid of suffocating her. "How long until the egg thing is out of your science oven?" She grinned.

"Until you learn to use your own legs and the nurse comes back to take us to the operation room." Hazel snorted, carrying her wife to the paper-covered bed thing in the waiting room of the N.S.'s hospital wing. When she put Grace down, the brunette was crying.

"Fuck, what did I say?! Don't divorce me!" Hazel squeaked, reaching for her wife's face, stroking her cheeks as she held it in her hands.

"Happy. These are happy tears, Hazel." Grace laughed through the sobs.

"In that case, continue." Hazel mused, smiling a little and planting kisses all over her lover's face.

"Daniels-Sinclair?" A woman poked her head into the waiting room, eying the couple.

"She's happy." Hazel shrugged, making Grace sigh out a laugh at her wife's speaking.

"Oh... Your procedure is ready." The woman stated.

"You ready, babe?" Hazel helped her wife down and held her waist once they were both standing.

"Me ready? The emotionless, heartless Hazel Sinclair is about to become pregnant with my child! Like holy hell I'm ready!" The brunette let out another teary laugh. "If I wasn't fucking sobbing, I'd kiss you fucking senseless right now."

"Like I care." Hazel rolled her eyes and lay a short but invasive kiss on her spouse's mouth, inconspicuously letting her hand fall to grope the woman's ass and swallowing her happy moans so the nurse wouldn't hear.

"Holy sugar, you're ginormous!" Grace was instantly aware of who her wife had just snuck into her living room, where she lay on a couch watching a black haired girl sing along to some creation of Victorious, leaving Grace to smirk at a fond memory she'd made with her wife.

"Yeah, I was going to surprise Hazel, but then little miss excitable decided to blab while I was out shopping so when I got home, Hazel was crying and I dropped all the groceries because I thought Lacy was hurt or something." The brunette snorted, giving her wife a kiss as she stood and made her way to the guest. "Lacy, your cool aunts are visiting!" Grace called.

"They're the cool ones? What does that make me?" Another voice spoke, this one from behind Grace, startling her.

"Megan, I swear- do not scare her! If she loses that child I'm going to-" Grace cleared her throat, knowing her wife could be, well, vulgar when it comes to people doing things she thinks will negatively impact her family. Which happens quite a lot when Grace gets horny and Hazel refuses to have sex because it will 'not be good for the baby'. Half the time, she wins those arguments.

"Aunt Marie!" A child came bolting through the kitchen where the adults had situated themselves, tackling the leg of a smiling Marley. "Where's Auntie Mich and Cousin Nick and Cousin Colby?" The girl looked up at her non-biological aunt with huge, warm chocolate colored eyes.

"What? No love for me?" Marley pouted and picked up the small half-human. "Come on, you know you love me too." She added, pouting.

"Oh my god, Lacy, you've gotten cuter!" Megan gushed, putting a finger under her niece's chin. "My god, you two, your child is gorgeous." She breathed towards the mothers. Hazel wrapped her arms around her wife from behind and trailed light kisses down the pregnant woman's neck, making her sigh happily.

"She looks just like her cool aunt." Marley stated proudly. "She has my cute face and everything!" Hazel rolled her eyes, silently feeling a warm flush of love and pride for her child.

"Mar, where is Micha?" Grace asked.

"Wait, holy mother of madness, Grace I completely forgot you were pregnant!" Megan nearly shrieked, running over and shooing her sister's hands off her sister-in-law's baby bump.

"Megan, you were literally the one to help Grace get pregnant so I wouldn't know about it." Hazel snorted.

"I know, but I was just thinking about how cute Lacy is and I forgot and- oh my god, your baby kicked me!" Megan squealed, her eyes getting a little teary. Grace giggled. When she and Hazel had announced their first pregnancy to Megan, she actually threw up from crying so vigorously. It was almost as memorable a reaction as when they told her they were getting married.

"Ehem," Marley chuckled, "my lovely wife will be here as soon as she can get Nick to put his mother's titty down." Hazel threw a death glare at the human. "I meant to say as soon as Nick is done feeding. And Colby is helping her carry in the baby carrier."

"Mommy, you say titty all the time." Lacy pointed out.

"No I don't." Hazel defended.

"You do, Zel." Grace assured.

"Talking isn't good for the baby." Hazel grumbled.

"Hey, where's my favorite child who I didn't birth myself?" Marley's wife came into the room, carrying an infant clad in a purple blanket, with its mouth still around its mother's nipple. "He kept crying so I just figured you've all seen breastfeeding kids before. What the heck." She shrugged.

"Auntie Micha!" Lacy started squirming in Marley's arms, so she was put down and ran to hug Micha's leg. "Auntie, look! Mommies are gonna have another baby!"

"Oh, you're right! Do you want to have a baby boy or a girl?" Micha beamed at the girl.

"Mommies say there is no diffence to them." Lacy grinned proudly.

"Hm, that is very like your mommies. But I'll tell you a secret. Baby boys have this really weird way of peeing that girls can't do." Micha whispered like it was a crime.

"Really?!" Lacy gasped.

"Mhm. Ask your uncle Sawyer about it."

"Momma, how do boys go potty?" Lacy pouted at her pregnant mother. Grace melted at her child's pouty face while Hazel gave Micha a look for bringing up anything having to do with penises in the lesbian household (really it was because Hazel was afraid any mention of boy parts would lead to the talk and the talk would lead to her baby growing up and going out and having sex and she was not ready to deal with her daughter's dating life).

"If your sibling is a boy, you'll find out." Hazel stated.

"Momma! Can you make the baby a boy?" Lacy batted her eyes. And Grace melted again.

"The baby is going to be whatever the baby wants to be." Hazel stated.

"Like a penguin?!" Lacy squealed, "Momma, I want a baby penguin!"

"Mum, I brought the carrier." Micha and Marley's oldest child came in.

"Aw, thanks, sweetie." Micha smiled over.

"Cousin Cocoa!" Lacy yelled and tackled the older girl in a hug. Colby, Marley and Micha's first child, was two years older than Lacy (Lacy being nine and Colby being eleven).

"Hi, Lace." Colby grinned, her face turning a slight pink.

"Why don't you two go play in the family room?" Grace smiled, walking to Colby and giving the girl a hug.

"Okay, Momma! Cocoa, come look at my new game!" Lacy giggled, pulling Colby after her as she ran off.

"Col has the biggest crush on Lacy, you know." Micha laughed. "Last time we visited and I asked her what she thought about Lacy she got all red and pretended not to hear me until I changed the subject."

"She seems to've taken a liking to Colby too." Grace smiled.

"Good thing they're cousins." Hazel mumbled under her breath. She was sure they'd be absolutely adorable sweethearts and that the Davis-Lloyd family raised good people, but really, was Hazel about to just let her first born child date?

"Sometimes I wonder if you're the maternal one." Megan teased.

"She does have a point. Colby isn't allowed to date until three days after I'm dead. You know, to make sure I'm dead." Marley folded her arms, "and you," she tapped her infant boy's nose, "are not allowed to do anything boys do because I have no clue how to deal with boy problems."

"You all with your kids, God." Megan chuckled. No one but Hazel noticed that Megan's face was a little red and her lips were slightly pouted. Her tell.

"Megan..." Hazel stated at her sister, making the girl blush more and smile innocently. "Holy-" Hazel gasped, "one second..." She calmly walked away to the front door. It opened. Then closed. Then a loud "holy fucking shit!" Was heard screamed outside, followed by a long string of profanities before Hazel was calmly walking back inside the house, a little red in the face.

"Babe... What was that?" Grace scowled at her wife.

"I'm... I'm pregnant?" Megan chirped, biting her lip.

"Nope." Hazel was running back outside, screaming more profanities. Grace was glad she'd made sure to teach Lacy why 'you do not repeat anything your Mommy screams outside the house and don't tell her you can hear her. She needs her screaming place.'

"Really? Megan!" Grace squealed, engulfing the younger woman in a tight hug.

"No! Megan! No! You're crushing the baby!" Hazel brooded as she reentered the house. "Grace, no hugging!"

"Hugging is good for children." Grace sighed, but listened to her wife, knowing Hazel had the best intentions and got really freaked out whenever her children were in danger. The first time Lacy hiccuped, Hazel called in an emergency medical professional she has had on speed dial since her pregnancy. Grace was asleep through it.

While the triplets and Grace had their moment, Marley and Micha were grinning at the ebonette, but didn't intrude.

"How long have you known?" Micha gave her a half hug, awkwardly trying not to squish the baby at her chest.

"About two weeks." Megan smiled, blushing, "I decided I really wanted to have a family and that if I could deal with Hazel on my own, I'll be a kickass single mother." She laughed. "I still can't believe there is a little child inside me."

"I still can't believe there's a baby in here." Grace pat her stomach lovingly.

"Don't do that, you'll give the baby a concussion!" Hazel gasped.

"Hazel, you need to calm down. If Lacy sleeping on top of me hasn't hurt the baby, my hand won't either." Grace sighed, pulling her wife into a quick kiss. "And Megan, if you ever want to stay here for a while with your baby, you know we don't mind at all."

"Of course." She nodded.

* * *

"Mom! Aunt Megan's here with Lily!" Lacy, now sixteen, called as she hugged her aunt. Her back pocket buzzed with a message alert, but she ignored it for a moment to greet her five year old cousin, Lily.

"My god, you're an adult." Megan gasped as she looked over niece.

"Lies! She's still my little baby girl!" Grace called as she walked to the door, kissing her daughter's cheek.

"Just let her go. She freaks out when you mention the g-u words." Lacy snickered at her mother playfully.

"Hmf." Megan mused, leaning down to her daughter, "alright, baby, go find Auntie Zel in the family room. Don't bother her too much." The girl nodded before running off. "She's not a big talker."

"I'll trade her for Juniper. She hasn't stopped talking since she first learned how to scream." Lacy mused, taking out her phone.

"Lace, don't be mean to your sister." Grace chided. "Ask Colby when-"

"Five minutes." Lacy smiled. "Nick is asleep and Marley is craving weird shit again." She giggled before walking off, nose in her phone.

"Alright then." Grace chuckled, guiding Megan into the living room where Juniper- Hazel and Grace's six year old daughter- was helping Lily and Hazel pick out a movie. Lacy had given up trying to talk them into a less childish show, but she and Colby were the only kids there over the age of ten so she was always outvoted, although she secretly wanted her mom to dig up the Land Before Time movies she still held an unknown affection for.

A few minutes later, Lacy suddenly bolted for the door right as it rang.

"That's them." Grace mused. "Hazel, why don't you go give them that talk about PDA?"

"Gladly." Hazel was always happy when she got to lecture her daughters on why they should not date or grow up or love anyone else. She did love Colby and she did approve of her daughter's relationship, but, well, she's a parent. And parents do that stuff because they're parents.

"Mom! Please control your wife!" Lacy groaned, pulling Colby along as Hazel followed behind them, making sure no hands were going where hands shouldn't go.

"Nice to see you, Colby." Grace chuckled.

"You too, Miss Sinclair."
