Before I start, S/O to @beautiful_shay for giving me the idea of posting ANOTHER chapter this week for August's birthday yesterday :)

The next morning I woke up to a bright light shining on my face. I opened my eyes and blinked a few times, clearing my vision. I looked over to the right at a nightstand and saw a picture of August and a older lady, Im guessing it was his mother. I smiled to myself staring at the photo, and that's when it hit me. "Omg, Im in his room right now?" I thought to myself. I looked over slowly to the left and saw August sound asleep. "No, no, no, no,no." I thought to myself. I peaked under the cover and saw my bare exposed body. "Oh..god." I said in a whisper. I slid out of the bed slowly, taking the sheet off of August and with me. I walked into the bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face. "Your digging yourself into a deeper hole Simone." I said to myself. I stood infront of the sink with my eyes closed, splashing the water on my face.
"Goodmorning sexy." August said while slapping my ass. I started to hold the sheets closer to my body. "H-hi..goodmorning." I answered nervously. "So your the shy, next morning type?" He said gesturing to the bed sheet. "..Something like that." August chuckled. "You ain't got nothing to hide now, I've seen it all." He said while looking at me up and down. I laughed nervously. "You good?" "Y-yeah Im great, can you get my clothes for me so I can uh...get dressed?" "Yeah sure." August left the bathroom and returned to the room. I sat down on the toilet seat and let out a long sigh. "How and the hell am I going to explain all this??" I ran my hands through my messy hair and jus sat there thinking. Like a minute or two later, August returned to the bathroom.
"Here ma, I brought you one of my t-shirts so you won't have to walk back in your swimsuit." "Thanks." I said slightly smiling. August stood there infront of me, smiling. "Sooo....are you gunna leave so I can change??" August laughed. "Damn you really are shy." I rolled my eyes. "Well I wanted to brush my teeth and take a shower, so I'll just turn around and wait for you to finish."
He shot me a smirk and I sighed. "Whatever, okay." August turned around and crosseed his arms across his chest. I dropped his sheet to the ground and started to get dressed. I caught him peeking a couple times, but he's a man, what did I expect. "Alright, thanks for the shirt and what you did yesterday for me, I never got to thank you properly." "Nah, you thanked me alright." August said in a laugh. I scoffed. "Whatever." I said smiling. "Sooooo, what are we doing today?" August asked. "We?" I asked confused. "Yeah, we." August said motioning at us. "As us together?" I said, hoping he would catch my drift. "YES, US as "together". He said making air quotes at together. I took a deep breath and sighed. "Look.. I think you may have gotten the wrong idea."
August looked at me funny. "After last night, ion think I have the wrong idea about anything." He said defensively. "I already have to explain this somehow to Tyrese and-" "Were back on him again?" August said with a straight face. "Damn Simone, I thought we was past that now." he said holding both of my hands. I looked down and back up at him. "Last night...I let my emotions take over and I didn't use my head..Im sorry." "So you admit that you feel some type of way towards me?"August asked. "If I say yes, then will you stop asking me that?" I said with a smirk. "Yeah." August said touching my chin. "Okay then, honestly yes I do, but like I said before, Im with someone right now and even if I wasn't I couldn't be with you." August let go of my hands. "Why not?" His voice started to get louder. "It's a long story, that I know I have to explain, but I can't right now ok? I left my phone home and Im pretty sure Tyrese has called me." August sucked his teeth. "Whatever man, I see where I stand now. I guess you thought I was the one night stand type." "No, that's not what I thought, I just can't be with you, and I'll explain why later." I said walking over to the door. "I really just think we should be friends okay? It works better that way...for everybody." I walked out of his room and then out of his house.
I made my way back down the cobblestone trail, where I bumped into Brutus. "Ms.Simone...had a nice night I suppose?" He said winking at me. I rolled my eyes. "Listen Brutus, we will NEVER talk about this ever again, Especially when Tyrese is around, got it?" Brutus laughed. "Your a tough one, but ok. I can't get you to realize what you got there." He said pointing back at Augusts' door. "...What do you mean?" I said in a curious tone. Brutus sat down the breakfast I just noticed he was holding. I guess August told him I stayed the night or something. "I've been Mr.Alsina's bodyguard for a while now, so basically I've seen everything." I nodded my head. "Okay..." I said motioning for him to continue. "Before August got back in contact with you, he had diffrent girls every week, hell sometimes every night, he stayed out at clubs with the groupies, you know, usual celebrity stuff. But since he started talking to you again...his focus has been Simone and Simone only." He finished.
I stood there staring at Brutus. I really didn't know what to say. I didn't ask him to do that for me, but I couldn't say that without sounding like a bitch. I nodded my head and smiled. "Thanks for telling me that Brutus." I shot him another quick smile and scurried over to my door. I ran up the steps and leaped towards my phone. I had 2 new text messages and 3 missed calls from Tyrese. My heart started pounding in my chest,I didn't want to talk to him, let alone face him when he comes back tommorow. I decided on checking my messages, giving me more time to stall before having to face Tyrese.
I opened my inbox and I had 2 unread messages from Stasia.
STASIA(8:30pm)- "Thanks for mever calling me bck"
STASIA(9:00pm-""What the hell is up with you lately?? CALL ME."
I read outloud. I had work tonight anyways so I planned on telling Stasi EVERYTHING. I had to tell her I've been living with August. It was passed time. But that's the ONLY thing Im telling her, what happened last night...Im taking with me to the grave.
I went to my missed call list and clicked the green phone icon next to Tyrese's name. I had butterflies in my stomach while I waited for him to answer.
TYRESE: "Hello..?"
He said with sleep in his voice.
ME: "Heyy handsome."
I said nervously. Tyrese slightly chuckled.
TYRESE: "Goodmorning beautiful, how did you sleep? I didn't hear from you last night."
ME: I-I know, after all those errands I ran yesterday, I was really tired, so I came home and showered and fell asleep. Sorry."
I had to admit. My lie was pretty good. It scared me how good I was getting at this stuff.
TYRESE: "Oh...I thought you might have been with August or something."
They was silence between us for a minute.
TYRESE: "Simone Im playing, I know you guys are just friends."
Tyrese laughed a little. I cleared my throat and let out a nervous laugh.
ME: "Yeah, just friends. Well anyways, how's your trip?
Tyrese sighed.
TYRESE: "Busy as hell, I can't wait to come back and see you."
I smiled to myself, but on the inside I kinda felt like shit.
ME: "Can't wait to see you either."
TYRESE: "Good. And I got a suprise for you when I get back."
I felt my heart drop to my stomach.
ME: "A suprise? What kind of suprise?"
TYRESE: "It wouldn't be a suprise if I told you, now would it?"
I slightly smiled to myself. Tyrese was so sweet. Any girl would be so lucky to have a guy like him, and here I was messing everything up already.
ME: "I guess not.."
TYRESE: "Exactly. But Im going to get my day started alright? I'll call you when I have some down time."
ME: "Okay."
I took the phone away form my ear and slid the red bar over, letting out a long sigh. What the hell was I doing? How did I get here in all this mess? How did my life become this crazy? I sat on the bed trapped in my thoughts. How I felt about August was apparently clear, but us being friends was for the better, I know I probably hurt him though. And Tyrese, he was everything I needed in a man, but something was missing. I layed back on the bed and drifted back to sleep.
