After the battle with Gamer, everyone headed back home for the rest of the evening, some people were done with dinner, but some just got started. In Marinette's house, Uncle Yao turned the stove off and wait for the eye to go off, then he put on oven mitts, opened the oven and get the taquitos out and place them on the stove, he smelled it and he moaned in a good way.
Uncle Yao: All done.
Tom: Is it done?
Uncle Yao: Yep. I'll serve Sabine's food. *He gets a plate and puts a few taquitos on the plate and walked up to Sabine. * Here you go, Sabine. Taquitos.
Sabine: Mm. Thank you. *She takes the plate and eats one taquito. Then Yao mixed in the meat sauce and hold the pot with a wooden spoon. *
Tom: Guys, dinner's ready! *Marinette, Marin, Bridgette, and Timmy came out of their rooms and sit at the table, Mushu sits on a stack of books and holds his knife and fork. *
Uncle Yao: Here we go. Pasta with meat sauce. *He served the pasta noodles first, then added the meat sauce on top of the pasta noodles, served himself a plate, and sit down. * Go on, tell me what you think of it. *Everyone tried a nibble of the food and they all like it. *
Mulan: This is delicious. *She eats some more. *
Aunt Lele: Yes, honey. It's delicious. *She eats some more and holds a cup of wine. *
Uncle Yao: I did learn from the best. *He twirls his fork and eats some pasta. Timmy reaches for a roll and eats it. * Timmy, how's that pasta? Good? *Timmy nods his head yes to Uncle Yao. * Good. *He eats some more. *
Marin: (I might have to get a second stomach.) *He drinks some water, Mulan put some butter on a roll and eat it, and Marinette drinks some water and picked up her fork. *
Tom: Yao, you have to teach me how to make this.
Uncle Yao: Sure. Just don't tell anyone else. Keep it in the family.
Tom: Got it. *They all keep eating the pasta. In Adrien's house, Adrien sits at the table and the butler, Monsieur Jean served everyone lobster bisque. *
Butler Jean: For tonight's special: Lobster Bisque.
Emilie: Thank you, Jean. *Jean bows his head and walked away; they start eating the lobster bisque. *
Adrien: Mom?
Emilie: Yes, Adrien?
Adrien: I'm sure you heard about the End of Summer carnival coming up soon. I was wondering if I can go.
Emilie: End of summer carnival? When's that happening?
Adrien: This Saturday.
Emilie: Sounds like fun. Sure, you can go there. Your dad will probably be back around that time. I'm sure he'll allow you to go too. *She eats some more lobster bisque. *
Felix: Think I can go too?
Adrien: Sure, I guess.
Felix: When's uncle coming back?
Emilie: Probably this weekend once his brand is launched in Tokyo.
Adrien: Not too long I hope. *He eats more of his lobster bisque and holds a cup of water. * How are you and Bridgette?
Felix: I don't know. Here o thought we had that connection back, but it looks like we didn't. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Amelie: Oh, I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong. She's probably going through something. Just give her time and I'm sure she'll talk to you.
Felix: Maybe you're right. (Just hope she's okay so I can fix what was already broken.)
In the Liberty boat, Anarka served everyone some chicken noodle soup and breaded chicken.
Anarka: So, I got a phone call from Grandma Yvette.
Luka: Huh. It's been a while since we saw her.
Anarka: Yes. The last time she came over was on Juleka's birthday. After that, we haven't heard from her lately.
Juleka: I thought she was sick.
Othiteka: Or dead.
Anarka: Enough. Why'd you say that?
Juleka: I don't know. We haven't heard from her for a while. *She eats some soup. *
Anarka: Well, she's coming over tomorrow. She already knows that your dad and I are divorced, but she doesn't know that he, Michael, and Aria are living with us.
Aria: Is Grandma Yvette our grandma too? *She picks up her fork and looked at her dad. *
Othiteka: Uh... that's... different, sweetheart. Isn't it, Anarka? *He holds a cup of water and takes a sip. *
Anarka: Yes. I'm sure you are, just not by blood.
Aria: Okay. *She eat a piece of breaded chicken and looked around. *
Othiteka: (Why couldn't she just say she's sick and doesn't have to come here?) *In Jordan's house, Anne put a casserole dish down on the table. *
Anne: Alright, chicken casserole for everybody.
Tom: Mm. I always love your chicken casserole. *She served the casserole to everybody
Anne: Only because my mother also gave you the recipe. Do you just like something I added to the casserole?
Tom: True. *He takes a bite, and he likes it. *Just like the last time you made it. *Everyone else eats the casserole and they like it too. *
Anne: Listen, I'll be working late tomorrow. There's gonna be an important client from New York who is gonna expand the news production.
Tom: Really? What is the news station's name?
Anne: ABC7 News. Who knows, maybe I might be promoted soon. Not sure when, but soon. *She eats some more casserole. * Jordan, think you can watch your sister tomorrow?
Jordan: Why not Dad?
Tom: I have a job interview tomorrow.
Anne: Oh, what job is that?
Tom: I have a job at the Zoo.
Lela: The Zoo? Really?
Tom: Yes. I met Otis the other day and asked if he hiring anybody at the Zoo, and he said yes. He needs a Zoo Curator. So, I applied for the position and he sets up the interview for tomorrow morning.
Anne: A Zoo Curator? Tom, you don't even like animals.
Tom: Sure I do.
Anne: No, you don't. Whenever we have a pet in the house. You turned them down and told us to get rid of them or take them back.
Tom: Pssh. Name one time I say that.
Anne: Our cat Sprinkles.
Tom: He scratched up the furniture, and the curtains, and besides doing her business in the litterbox, she poops on the carpet and the floor and hacks out hairballs. It makes me nauseous just at the sight of it. And she sheds everywhere.
Anne: Our dog Humphry.
Tom: Poops and pees all over the house, it was hard to get the stains out of the rug.
Anne: Okay. The Snake?
Tom: Afraid to use the toilet whether I sit down or stand over it.
Anne: Okay, I see your point. Are you sure you what to do?
Tom: Yeah, I'll try at least.
Anne: Okay, if you're sure about that. *Everyone else eats the casserole. Then, the sun went down, and Tom made pecan pie, Aunt Lele's allergic to nuts, so Tom gave her a slice of blueberry pie. She loved it as she eats the whole slice. Everyone's in their pajamas, Marinette looked at the grimoire at a few more pages. *
Marinette: Guess I have some training to do for more allies.
Tikki: What about you guys and the Pixies?
Marinette: I'll get to them later, right now I have to get to our trusted allies for training. Might take some time, but I'll manage somehow.
Tikki: Okay, that makes sense. *Soon, Marinette's phone buzzed, she reached for it, it was a message from Master Fu. *
🐢: Hello, Marinette. Sorry to text you this late. But the Temple Guardians spoke to me earlier and the Ethereal Fairies want to speak to you and the others about the next gift they have for you. Tell the others to come here tomorrow.
🐞: Okay.
🐢: Thank you.
Marinette: I guess, Master Fu wanted to see us tomorrow. Hopefully, we don't have to do anything much tomorrow. *She puts the phone away, closes the book, and put it back on the shelf. * Goodnight, guys.
Lockette: Goodnight. *She flies up to her bed and falls asleep. *
Tikki: Goodnight. *She lay on top of Marinette's head and fall right to sleep. *
In Alfea, Bloom, Tecna, Flora, Stella, and Musa pack up their bags.
Stella: I'm so excited to go to Paris. The city of lights, the great food, and the shopping. Imagine what kind of clothes the different shops have.
Bloom: Stella, we're not going to Paris for a vacation. We have a mission to help Layla and the others.
Stella: I know, but still. Isn't it part of every adventure there's always shopping?
Bloom: No. But we have to stay focused.
Tecna: Good thing we got our Believix powers. We'll need them before we head down there.
Musa: And our special wings too. And anything else for that matter.
Stella: Wonder if our boyfriends are coming with us too.
Bloom: I'm sure they will. Nut I'm not sure if Paris people believe in magic though.
Flora: Does it hurt if we try it?
Bloom: It helped in Gardenia, so why not? Just as long as they don't take it magic as a joke.
Musa: Well, we better get some sleep. *She and Tecna go to their room and Bloom, Stella, and Flora go to their rooms and go to sleep. *
