I walked in school with fangs and sweet pea
"Wow no hello?" I hear I turn around and a big smile appears on my face
"Axel" I say I go and jump on his hugging him and he spins me around.
"I didn't think you were serious, got was your face your greaser" I say wiping dirt off his nose
"I felt I was needed to help you through the death of your father" axel says
"Who's this?" Sweets asks
"Oh Um this is axel, axe this is sweet pea and fangs" I say
"Sweet pea your boyfriend?" Axel says
"Yep" I say
"She didn't care about her dad so your not needed here axel" sweet pea says
"If you believe that are you really a good boyfriend?" Axel asks and sweet pea steps up to him
"What the fuck did you just say to me?" Sweet pea asks
"Ok boys stop" I say
After school v wants the serpents to find out who shot my dad. Axel thought I should help even if I was looking into my mother.
I sat with Jughead and my mother
"To what do I owe the pleasure?" My mom asks
"I'll just get right to it madam mayor, did you shoot your husband?" Jughead asks
"Excuse me?" She asks
"Did you shoot dad or take a play from his book and hire someone?" I ask
"I love my husband" she says
"Uh huh but did you shoot him? From what we hear, not all is not well over at the pembrooke" Jug asks
"As records and witnesses will attest, I was on the phone with hiram when he was shot picking up lunch at pops" my mom says
"What we're you and hiram arguing about when Veronica had her seizure?" Jughead asks
"We'll mr jones and ms lodge if you two must know, we were fighting because I caught hiram having an affair. I had been suspicious for awhile so I had sheriff Minetta follow him. This was before he got butchered of course. And he gave me these" she says and pulls a folder out and hands them to us
We look at the pictures "now I don't know who she is but he was meeting her regularly at the five seasons" my mom says
"Dad having another women is pretty good motive to shoot him" I say
"No it isn't I simply asked him to end it and he did now I'm telling you guys this because I have nothing to hide" she says
"Meaning we need to find this women jug she could have been mad he ended it" I say to him
Jug tries to give the pictures back "keep those I mean who knows maybe Avery is right and Hiram's mistress was angry when he called it quits. You do know how volatile blondes can be" she says to jug
Sweet pea and fangs call Jughead and I go with
"Sweet pea fangs why did you guys bring me down here? You know I'm on a case" I hear Jughead asks as I sit on the top waiting for jug
"I heard the gargoyle gang is riled up they're looking for tall boy and as long as his bodys down here it's a ticking time bomb!" I hear fangs yell
I jump down and see fangs and sweet peas shocked faces
"Keep it down fangs and tell me you didn't kill him" I say walking into the room
"I have no idea what your talking about Avery" fangs says
"Oh really? So you don't mind if I just look around?" I ask and start looking
"Stop you don't wanna-" sweet pea says and then I find tall boys body
"Oh my god" I say and back up I turn and look at sweet pea
"It was an accident ave" he says
"Ok sweets, Jughead we need to dispose of him now. These boys are freaking out" I say to him
"It's to hot to move him right now" Jughead says and sweet pea sighs
"Hey! Let's not lose our heads okay?" Jughead asks "fangs I need you to stay here with tall boy, and I need you to lock this place up. I'm serious. Sweet pea you and Avery need to tail someone for me" Jughead says
That's how we ended up in a truck tailing my mom.
She ended up going to a cabin we parked away and went up to it. We looked in and there was sheriff minetta and my mom.
"Call jug" I whisper to sweet pea who nods and walks away to make the phone call
Once he gets out here we crouch down near the window "stay down and keep quiet" Sweet pea says to Jughead
"Is that" jug asks "that can't be"
He looks at us
"Sheriff minettas alive?" He says "I thought he was decapitated?" Jug asks
"No" sweets says "from the sounds of it they have been having an affair for months" he adds
"I'm guessing mother dear faked the whole thing to get dad off her trail of this affair" I say to Jughead
"Wait listen" Jughead says "there's too many people asking questions which means our little outstanding problem, you need to take care of tonight I've cleared the decks and use your old sheriff gun then all signs will point to FP" she says
"They're talking about framing my dad" jug says
"For what" sweets asks
"I'll have to figure it out and warn him" Jughead says and runs off.
"You don't have to be here you know" sweets whispers to me
"No I do" I say after hearing nothing else me and sweets end up leaving
I get my SATs scores I got an almost perfect score
" I got my scores back from the SATs" I tell sweets as he's on our bed
"Really what did you get?" He asks and I show him "wow my girl is a badass and smart, I'm lucky" he says and leans over and kisses me
We go to pops to talk about Keller and McCoys wedding after event
"Do I have to be there, Kevin doesn't like me and I don't think I've ever spoken to Josie maybe like once or twice"
"Your going as my date sweet pea" I said and Axel shows up
"Hey guys, sweets if you don't wanna go I could always take your place" he says
"One don't call me sweets that nickname is only hers to use two no way in hell would I do that" sweets says
"Whoa buddy no need to be all hostile" he says "I will catch you later Avery I just stopped by to get some food" he says and leaves
"I hate him" he groans to me
"I don't know why?" I say
"Because he likes you more than friends like the way I liked you when we were friends Avery, he's trying to take you from me. I just know it" he says and I kiss him
"Don't be jealous sweets he's just my friend and he knows that" I say
On the speaker Cheryl basically outs moose with out saying his name to the whole school but is starting a lgbtq club
I get a call at night from my dad "hello dad?" I say and sweet pea gives me a weird look
"Mija where are you?" He asks
"I'm with sweet pea why?" I ask
After the call I go and sit on sweet pea and kiss him
"What's that for?" He asks
"What I can't kiss my boyfriend" I ask and he smiles and kisses me harder
The next day at school Cheryl walked up to me
"I need to talk to you alone without your boyfriend and body guard" she says
"You know they are Toni's best friends right?" I ask and she sigh and rolls her eyes and pulls me away
