We go and watch Archie's game.

They lost.

At school Archie gets on the speakers and wants to school to rally behind his team.

"Ok class please turn in your homework on the way out" I ask as the kids grab their things

Betty sends me a text
'It's her'

I knew what it meant the blood was a match for Polly's blood meaning she's probably dead. I sigh and sit on my desk as the students come in.

We were at the diner when Reggie walked in I walked over to him I sat next to him.

"What are you doing here Reg?" I ask

"Uh this is public space" Reg says v and Archie come and sit down in front of me

"I take it you didn't come for the hotcakes Reginald" v says

"No. I'm here on behalf of the greater rock land county high school football league the eight other teams in the conference" Reg says I get up and grab some pancakes cuz I wasn't in the mood to deal with Reggie.

I looked down at my food and walk outside I walk to the side of the building and lean up against it I close my eyes.

Flash back

"I don't care glen. There are girls dead!" I yell and hang up the phone. I slam my phone on my desk. I went over the case files again and looked at the board for what felt like hours.

I had to find this killer.

"Avery?" I here I open my eyes to see Reggie

"What do you want Reginald" I say and push off the wall
"I was walking to my car when I seen you you looked upset" he says
"Not that it's any of your concern or business but I was just thinking about an old case" I say

"From when you were a trainee?" Reg asks walking over to me
"Mmmhmm so many girls dead and missing reg and I still couldn't catch that asshole now here I'm scared it will end up the same" I say

"Your home Avery, you will catch anyone here. You caught Jason blossoms murderer, you caught the black hood, the gargoyle king, those preppies, and Betty's brother right all while you were in high school there's I have no doubts this will be the same" Reg says

"Thanks mantle. That means a lot actually we should grab drinks sometime I should go though" I say

"Yeah same your dad will start wondering where I am" Reg says he waves bye and leaves.

I still was feeling super stressed. I really wanted to find polly. Alive would be better but her body at least.

I get picked up by Jughead and Betty we were going to go meet a kook Jughead knows.

"What we're you doing out here?" Betty asks as we get off our bikes

"Just working on a book. So the old timer that owns this place has been here for decades" Jughead says and we started walking up

"Just like the old days, us three" I say and Betty smiles

"Mr dreyfuss hi Jughead jones you remember me?" Jug asks the old man

"Course I do" he says

"Great this is Betty cooper and Avery lodge. They are friends of mine from the FBI. We were hoping that you could help us with an investigation" jug asks

"Come on up" he says and we go up

"We're one hundred percent certain that my sister made a call from a pay phone on the lonely highway" Betty says
