Fire and Flames

(S6e10)

The next day I wake up with sweet pea I barely slept that night. My whole body hurt. I was seven months along and already was tired of being pregnant.

I went out to the kitchen and made breakfast after I was done sweets came in and came up behind me. He snuggled his head into my neck and kissed and as he wrapped his hands around me.

"Good morning my love, you cooking? Could sleep again could you" sweet pea says backing away from me and bit but keeps his hand on my arm.

"Not really but it's ok we have a town meeting to get to can you go wake up alec" I say

"Of course my love" he says kissing my lips and going to get alec up. Once we sit down to have breakfast "alec are you coming with us to the meeting or are you going out" I ask

"I'll come with you guys" he says eating
"Ok well we should hurry up then so we can get dressed and go" sweet pea says he grabs my hand and smiles at me

"What" I ask him

"Before I met you I never thought I'd be like this when I grew up I'm just so happy to have an awesome family" he says and kisses my hand

"Me too I love you" I say

"Ok ok I love all the lovey stuff but can we go back to eating" alec says and I chuckle

Once we get to the meeting I sit with the council as sweet pea finds fangs in the audience and him and Alec sit with him.

I wore a red sun dress and a leather jacket over it. Sweet pea wore a white shirt with black jeans and his serpent jacket and Alec wore blue jeans with a black shirt on under his serpent jacket.

We go through the agenda and go over a few after we get done Alice bangs her hammer twice.

"And next on the agenda is the Pickens park Revitalization project" Alice yes Pickens stands up next to Alice since he's on the council now

"Now as we all know Pickens park once magnificent has sadly become blighted. Drugs, crime, and worse which is why I'm so excited to reveal to you" he starts and then uncovers his plan

"The park's future as you can see it will feature new playgrounds for children repathways for cycling and where it stood before a glorious new stature of my ancestor general Pickens " he says he had me up until the statue.

"The man credited with taming these wild lands" he continues I scoff tan chuckles like what and Archie speaks

"You can't be serious right. General Pickens was a homicidal maniac who slaughtered the uktena tribe we all learned that in high school" Archie says

"Yeah we can't just look away from that" I say

"Yeah and I think before anything is approved it's important to remember why the statue was removed in the first place for a lot of people in riverdale general Pickens isnt a hero but rather an offensive reminder of our towns dark history" tabby says

"Very well we'll revisit this but in the mean time let's move on to the next order of business the new town sign" he says showing a picture of what the town sign he wants it to look like

"Now the updated design approved by majority of this council" he says and Frank and Alice smile

"Sadly won't have room for the town slogan home of pops chock'lit shoppe so we'll have to lose that I'm afraid" he says

"What the hell" I growl

After the meeting I was livid on the way home

"How can a guy be such an asshole he's doing this on purpose who ever doesn't agree with his ways gets pushed out first Toni now he's targeting tabby" I rant
