I just want to say rip Luke perry, you were the best riverdale dad there was and I wish you were still with us. I hope you rest in heaven Luke.

I now lived with sweet-pea and spent most of my time with him. Things have been quiet around here. G&G no longer is around and no murders have taken place.

I laid in sweet peas bed

"We have to get up we have to go finish the float that pops is sponsoring" I say to sweets he groans and rolls over on me.

"There's a whole town of people, they won't miss us" he says

"It might be weird if the co owner of pops doesn't show up" I say and kiss his lips "fine but you own me" he says and I chuckle

"Deal whatever you want" I say

We get to the float and start working on it.

Sweets drops me off cuz he had some serpent stuff to do. Cheryl then showed up.

"Well well well stop the presses the riverdale rag has finally reported a story accurately not only is there going to be some hideous janky parade sneaking it's way through town you five are the architects for this outrage" Cheryl says

"What's your problem Cheryl?" V asks

"My problem Veronica is that the 4th of July is a day of tragedy for riverdale not celebration or have you forgotten what happened to my poor brother Jason?" Cheryl asks

"Cheryl riverdale hasn't held a parade out of respect for what happened to you brother in... like years I think it's time" Betty says

"I mean, you don't have to come" jug says

"Oh I'll be there insufferable Smurf. Front and center with a sign of protest in one hand, and a horn of compressed air to silence any revelry in the other" Cheryl says before getting back into her car

"Great" v says

"Anyone hungry for breakfast?" Jug asks

That's how we found ourselves eating breakfast

"So camping this weekend, are we still on?" Jughead asks

"In open, but what are we talking about here? Like" v says

"The woods" Betty laughs and I laugh as well "but remember this could possibly be our last summer to do this because next year we'll be getting ready to go to college" Betty adds

"I'm in jug sweets will be upset but he will get over it" I say

"And if anyone is scared of bears well don't be because Archie's been attacked like what multiple times and still survived" jug jokes

"Hey I wear my scars proudly" arch says Archie's dad then calls him

"Hey dad" Archie says then after a min he hits my leg and I get up. He walks off as I sit back down

We all turn around and Archie drops his phone
"Archie" v says he drops to the ground and we all rush to him

Archie's dad died.

I sat next to Reggie as we all mourned Fred.

"Hey remember that tree house your dad helped us build?" Reg asks Archie

"You mean the one he built for us?" Jug says

"I remember you fell out of it Reg" Archie says we all chuckle "and broke my arm your dad drove me to the hospital" Reggie says

"I remember this one time, this time we were having a picnic, when we were still in grade school in Pickens park, and there was a father daughter potato sack race uh my dad I don't know where he was, but mr Andrew's said he would do it with me so he was my dad for the day" Betty says
