I sat on the couch reading some child stories out loud. I got a call from tabby that pops had a heart attack.
Betty calls me and says we have to speak to tbk who is being transported to rivervale. We had to get a confession out of him.
It could only be us two in the room. I zipped up my fbi jacket when sweet pea walked in.
"You are gonna hate me" I say grabbing my bag
"Why?" He asks
"Because remember when I told you about tbk well he got caught. But we have to speak to him Betty and I and only us alone to get a confession. It's my orders and I have to follow them" I say
"They will be watching you? And he will be locked up right?" He asks me
"Yes sweets he will be locked up and we will be watched over now don't worry" I say and kiss him
"Ok I trust you" he says
"Good now why are you home?" I ask him
"I just had to grab some tools before I head back out" he says and kisses my head
"Ok well I will see you at home I'm on my way to the office" I say
"Bye baby" he says
I head out and go to see pops before the office
"Hey tabby how is he?" I ask
"Not good Avery" she says sitting down I go and stand next to pops
"Can I say a prayer?" I ask
"It couldn't hurt" she says and comes and stands with me she holds my hand as I grab pops
"Your love and faithfulness, along with Your goodness and mercy, surround me daily, so I will not fear whatever might come against me. My trust is in You, God, and I give thanks to You for Your love and protection. In Jesus' name, Amen. Grant, O Lord, thy protection and in protection, strength. Amen" I say
"Amen" tabby says
I go to the office waiting for Betty.
We go into the room with tbk
"I'm happy to see you again Betty it's been too long. Same to you Avery. But don't you two want to see my real face" tbk says
"This is your real face" Betty says
"But if you mean your human face that will come soon enough" I say
"Our boss wants a confession from you" Betty says
"Hmm" tbk says
"He wants you to admit to all of the atrocious things in here" Betty says patting his file
"That's what's your boss wants but what do you two want?" He asks
"I want to get a confession out of you so I can go home and see my fiancé and read to my unborn baby" I say
"I don't give a damn about a confession I know you did these thing I just want to know....does evil absolute evil...exist? And are you it" Betty asks
"Ask your real question Betty and then I will confess my sins" he says
"We don't have to play these mind games with you no one cares that you're here so you can sit in your filth for all we care" I say leaning forward
"And we will just come back tomorrow" Betty says
We get up and go to walk out
"Yes Betty absolute evil exists" he says and we turn around "and yes there's a part of you that is absolutely 100% evil. Both of you" he says we start to walk back to the table
"You're caked in it Betty it's what draws us to each other" tbk says
We leave after not getting anywhere I ask Betty if she's ok and she says she is ok.
So I go home and start to settle down as sweet pea makes food when I get a text from Betty
B: called glen. Tbk was never sent here. Nor in custody
I turn my phone off and look up at sweet pea he looks back at me "you ok?" He asks me
"Yeah Betty texted she needs something imma run over there and see what it is I know she was traumatized when she got kidnapped" I say
"Ok be safe I love you" he says
"I love you more" I say before heading to Betty's
We go to the office "new question who are you because your sure as hell not tbk" Betty asks I felt weird about this I wanted to call glen fast.
"I'm the devil Betty" he says I sat in the back of the room watching
"Ok so if evil exists and you're the devil...hell is real place then?" Betty asks
"Oh yes" he says
"Well tell me is my dad there?" Betty asks
"Do you have a place reserved for my dad if not you should" I say
"He is Betty and yes there is" he says
"So if I asked for you to prove to me that what your saying is true....could I speak to my father?" Betty asks
He falls down then shoots up
"B-Betty Betty what's happening" I hear Hal's voice I sit up
"Dad" Betty whispers
"Betty where am I? You have to get me out of here it hurts it hurts so bad" Hal says
"If it really is you dad I need you to focus ok where would you always take me after my little league games?" Betty asks
"You...you you mean chaz e cheddars on route 18? Hal asks
"Betty is that right?" I ask she doesn't speak meaning it was Hal
The next day we came back
"Back for more Betty?" He asks
"If your the devil and you've come to me it's because you want something from me so what is it?" Betty asks tbk
"Your loyalty there is a war brewing Betty the one between good and evil pledge your allegiance to me and I'll release your father from endless suffering and Avery you do the same and your father spot disappears" he says
"We'll see about that I don't care so no thanks I'm not gonna stay and humor this. My father was Lucifer dude" I say and I walk out
When I get to pops a man walks up to me "your soul is kind you have met the devil" he says
"Who are you?" I ask
"I'm Rafael a good guy" he says I hear beautiful music
"I met the devil he wants me and my partner to pledge loyalty to him I said no of course" I say
"For that your family will be protected in this war you pledge your loyalty to us" he says
"Of course I stand with you Rafael" I say and he smiles
"Then drink this and to your love" he says
I go home and put it in sweet peas drink before drinking it as well. Virgin Mary tears she shed at the crucifixion
I go to my sisters Casino. She was dancing and singing I went over to Reggie "I messed up Avery" he says
"What happened Reggie?" I ask
"I tricked your sister into selling her soul to the devil he's coming to collect at midnight. Avery I'm so sorry, she's doing this knowing she's going to hell" Reggie says
"You did what?" I yell at him
"I'm sorry" he says and runs off
My tears over flow my face I cover my mouth and I start mumbling a prayer to Rafael
Her song ends exactly at 12 am
I run up to the front of the stage
"Veronica!" I yelled
"I love you Avery" she says smiling at me I hug her.
After awhile v made a different deal with the devil so she was spared. I was never walking into that casino.
She gave him Reggie's soul this week.
I go home and get a call
"Hello agent Avery this is foster from agent scots office have you seen glen he was reported missing" she says
"No I haven't last time I spoke to him was a few days ago for our weekly check in. I can try calling him if you'd like" I say
"That won't be necessary we've tried it keeps going to voice mail but if you hear from him give us a call" she says
"Ok I will keep me updated if you guys find him" I say
"Will do have a good night agent" she says
"You too" I say and hang up
I go to bed with sweet pea
