After a few hours of "relaxing" that felt like an eternity of stress. The representatives finally came and started meeting us in the meeting room. I was doing everything in my power to distract myself from thinking about tomorrow. I wrote down a few notes but nothing that sounded like it would have a hundred percent survival rate. In between writing notes and stressing Levi convinced me to spar, and Jean and Marco had me ref their match.

I don't know how they can do it? I mean just act so normal and not feel like the world may end tomorrow. "Because they are good at hiding it," Levi whispered in my ear.

"So they-."

"Are panicking like crazy on the inside too, yes," he smiled. "We all are. Why do you think they were doing everything in their power to stay distracted by doing something anytime we were just sitting around?"

"I just thought they had a lot of energy," I shrugged.

Levi just shook his head and smiled at me. We watched as Quinn and Alastair had come back and taken their seats in the room. We are only waiting on two more people now.

Zahra seemed pleased to see that we were still sitting here. When she came in she had asked if everything went okay. When we told her it did she didn't seem surprised. I guess she's pretty confident in her probability prediction. I hope her powers will continue to give us more help, especially tomorrow. We will need all the help we can get

I looked around to try and see who we were still missing. "Xander and Leroy," Quinn whispered, trying to help me out. She has a better memory than I do. I couldn't remember their names for the life of me. My thoughts just kept saying grumpy old guy and the other healer.

"Thank you," I whispered back.

Xander came in a moment later and took a seat. The only one left is Leroy now. Everyone had started their own conversations. Some were talking about our mission and how they saw the broadcast. Xander just sat quietly for a while before finally deciding to jump into a conversation. It kinda made us all a little curious when we heard him speak to Hassam of all people.

"I saw you on the news, you guys did good," he said quickly. I think he was hoping to fade out of the conversation again, but Hassam just gave him a big smile.

"Thank you, I just hope it worked."

"We all do," he mumbled.

Leroy came in with Erwin right behind him and they both took a seat. He gave us a quick congratulations on the mission before we all decided it was time to start talking about what to do about tomorrow.

"All plans are welcome, and if it's okay with Zahra she can give us the probability of these plans?" Pixis asked.

"That's fine with me," she nodded.

"Does anyone have any plans to start?" Pixis asked, encouraging others to get their ideas out there.

"I might have an idea," Amelia said quietly. All eyes turned to her.

"Alright, go ahead," he nodded, gesturing for her to continue.

After we had come up with a few different plans that we were sorta confident with, Zahra was asked if she could give us a probability.

"What probability do you want first?" She asked, playing with the strings on her jacket. It might have looked like she didn't even listen to the actual plans, but I can tell she heard every word.

"There's more than one?" Pixis asked, looking at her.

"Well, there are infinite probabilities depending on what you want to know?" she mumbled. "Probability of success, probability of failure, probability of survival for individual people, probability of-."

Probability of survival? She can tell who will live and who will die already?

"You can see that?" Shadis asked, leaning forward.

"Yes, I can see a lot of different things."

Levi leaned over and whispered in my ear, "it's not a guaranteed thing."

"It's still pretty damn accurate," I mumbled back.

"Why don't we just start with the success rate of the missions and go from there," Pixis said, clearing his throat. "I mean that's what we all wanna know right? Which plan has the best chance of success?"

"Alright," she nodded, "as I see right now the plan that has the biggest success rate is the one we have mostly decided on with a 32% chance of success."

"That low?" I whispered.

"Well that's the plan by itself, adding in outside factors, depending on how many people actually do decide to show up and help out it could jump up by as much as 49%"

That's still really low. I could have sworn the prediction would have been higher than that. "Do you have any other plans that you could think of that would make that number higher?" I heard myself ask before I could stop.

"Sorry, it doesn't work like that," Zahra said quietly. "I don't have the answers that would make it a perfect 100% success. I can only see small patterns that will increase our chances in the current plan. If you would like I could try and suggest some of those?"

"Anything helps," Pixis said with a nod.

"One of the suggestions I can make will move the prediction up to a 56% chance of success," she explained before looking at Erwin. "As the plan stands now your power would be overused and pretty much useless by the time we get to the actual fight due to the fact of how many portals you would have to make. If we bring all the teams to the same location tonight, then tomorrow you would only create the portals necessary to send them through. You will have more time to actually use your powers before backlash starts to affect you."

"I think we can do that," Pixis said looking around, "this place has more than enough room to fit all of your groups, even if it is a little crowded I'm sure most of us have dealt with worse conditions," he asked looking around the room. I can have my group share rooms for the night to make extra room around here. I'm sure they won't mind."

"I'm okay with that if it helps the mission," Quinn Agreed.

"This place is the biggest hideout I've seen in a while," Alastair nodded, "I'm sure no one in my group would have any issues coming here."

Zahra was the next to speak up, "my group will agree if I tell them it increases the probability of success." Everyone slowly but surely agreed.

"Anything else that will help improve our odds?" I asked before watching as Zahra's eyes darted around the room before landing on Quinn and Alastair. "They're teams need to be next to each other when we go in. If their teams are next to each other it jumps up to a 63% success rate."

"Why?" Alastair asked? "I mean don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, but you seemed to have explanations for the other two reasons."

"I'm not quite sure, but the patterns never lie. You two seem to have a lot of patterns together that improve the probability, for your own survival, and for the success of the mission."

"Anything else you can see that might raise the percentage a little more?" Shadis asked this time.

Her eyes looked around once again before returning back down towards the table, "sadly no. As of right now, I have no other way to increase probability. Maybe tomorrow morning before the mission I might be able to if I spot another pattern, but right now I can't see any others. I can also try and look around tonight at everyone around and see if I get anything else."

"That's fine, you managed to bring it a lot higher. Thank you all for your help." Pixis said, looking around the room before clearing his throat. "We should send you back so you can gather your groups," Pixis said before standing up and helping everyone out of the room. They all headed with him Shadis and Erwin to grab everyone. Nanaba and Auruo went to tell everyone in the building to get ready for a lot of guests.

I was still sitting in the chair with my eyes glued to the table. Sixty-three percent. That's what we are working with. We didn't even get to ask her probability of survival. Will she tell us as a whole what everyone's survival odds are, or individually."

"It's probably best we don't know that," Levi said, putting his head on my shoulder. No one wants to be told their chances of survival are low. Besides, if she did it might cause the mission's success probability to change as people panic about their low numbers."

"You're right, but could you imagine knowing something like that?"

"Something like what?"

"That just by looking at someone you could tell that they might die." I couldn't imagine ever looking at someone knowing they were going to die and say nothing. "Maybe that's the reason she doesn't look at people unless she's actively using her powers."

"Maybe," Levi mumbled. "We should head back to our room and try to help everyone move around. I'm sure Jean and Marco will bunk with us tonight."

We headed out into the common room where everyone was getting filled in on the situation. "Each room must have at least 3 or more people in it tonight," Auruo had said. I watched as people moved around to find people to bunk with.

No one seemed to mind in the slightest. Some people even seemed thrilled like it was going to be some kind of sleepover. Sure enough, Jean and Marco walked up to Levi and me and didn't even bother to ask. Jean just threw his arm over my shoulder and smiled. "What's up roomie?"

I just rolled my eyes before looking around the room to see who else would be rooming together. It seems Annie and Mikasa are bunking with Armin and Berthold. While Ymir and Christa are bunking with Connie and Sasha. Franz, Hanna, and Mina also seemed to be grouped up.

I looked behind me where Auruo was and saw the rest of the groups. Auruo was grouped with Petra and Eld. Mom was grouped with Mom and Molbit, and I could hear them talking from here about how they will also have Erwin in their group when he comes back from gathering the rest of the groups. I saw Mike standing alone and I assumed he was going to bunking with Pixis and Shadis for the night.

I looked over at Nanaba's group to see how they split up. It seemed that Nanaba, Rico, Hannes, and Gunther were all paired together. Thomas, Marlowe, and Hitch also seemed to be grouped together.

"Alright, we went from taking up 26 rooms to," he paused to count the groups, "only taking up 9. I think that's a good start. Besides, we also have the extra guest rooms. Hopefully, this should be enough. We will let you know if we need to group up a little more than this later, for now, everyone is dismissed, go get your rooms ready for tonight."

We all headed to our rooms and moved some stuff around to allow more room for everyone. Jean and Marco brought all their stuff into our room, and I watched as some of the others did the same. I mean we didn't have much stuff to start with in here so them bringing their stuff in wasn't really an issue in the slightest. I laid back on the bed just looking at the ceiling. Tomorrow is really the day. I looked at Jean and Marco who were still talking and getting their stuff situated.

I hope they make it through tomorrow. They deserve a good long life. Levi's right. It's probably best we don't know the probability of anyone's survival, because if we did then we would all be too worried about that than the actual mission.

Jean plopped down on the bed next to me and gave me a smile, "whatcha thinking about?"

"About how annoying you'll be all night," I said, laughing it off and sitting up.

"Rude, and here I was going to be the perfect guest, but now Imma be an asshole on purpose," Jean said, lightly elbowing my arm. "No but seriously you looked spaced out, you okay?"

"Just worried about tomorrow, that's all," I whisper.

When I heard more footsteps around the building I was tempted to stay in the room. I mean meeting new people was never my strong suit, but I can't help but kick this feeling.

"I'll be back," I said, sitting up and walking towards the door.

Levi grabbed my arm and raised his eyebrow at me. "Don't do what I think you're about to do," he whispered to me.

"I'll be right back, don't worry," I said, giving him a smile, but avoiding his statement.

I walked around the common area that was filled with a bunch of new faces. I kept my head down as I looked around the room. I found some familiar faces and walked up to them. "Pixis, Shadis, have you seen Zahra?"

"Yeah, she's over there," Pixis said, pointing towards the end of the common area where she was talking to someone.

"Thanks," I said before making my way over.

She had just finished her conversation and looked like she was going to walk away when she saw me walk up to her. "Can I help you?" she asked blankly.

"You said you knew the probabilities of people's survival for the mission tomorrow?" I asked quietly.

"Yes, did you want to know yours?" She asked her tone flat.

"No, no I wanted to know if you had a probability that was less specific. Like rather than doing a probability for just one person can you do a probability of survival for everyone?"

"The probability of everyone surviving tomorrow is 0.00001%," she said looking me in the eyes before her eyes dropped back down to the floor."

"What?" I asked. Maybe I heard her wrong, but that sounded really low. Maybe she was looking at the wrong prediction? Or maybe I worded my question wrong. "What was that prediction for again?" I asked hoping to double-check to make sure I wasn't about to panic over nothing.

"The possibility of everyone who goes into the mission tomorrow surviving." She repeated.

I was able to finally let out my breath. I guess I did word the question a little weird. "Oh, okay, I meant to ask. If it's possible, can you get an average probability of survival for everyone without telling me specifically every individual's probability of survival?" I asked trying to be a little clearer with what I was asking this time. I know that not all of us are going to live through tomorrow, but I want to know just how many of us might die without knowing who.

"No." She said flatly.

I blinked for a moment trying to figure out why she was refusing. I was about to ask when she spoke up again. "Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. I would have to go around and look at each individual person to get their probabilities and then do the math myself, but being as a good portion of people who are going to show up tomorrow that won't be here tonight, it won't be an accurate prediction."

"I see, well thank you anyway," I said before heading back to my room. It's for the best that I don't know. When I got back to the room I could tell Levi thought the same thing after reading my thoughts.
