-Chapter 185: I Can't Drag Your Soul to Shore

"When great malice is born, Master Ark can be revived," a woman's voice says as my surroundings change to what the inside of the Ark's satellite looks like. 

Hm? When did I get here? I didn't do anything to be brought here. Unlesss...this woman has the ability to drag anyone she wants into here as long as they feel something awful inside of them. 

I don't need to look over to tell who is here right now. I know what is going on and I know what the future holds if this person gets their way. It is time to confront them and see what they're up to and what they want from me. 

"So, you're Azu, huh?" I look over the Ark's secretary, who looks almost like Izu. I've heard her be mentioned by Jin to Abyss, which wasn't something I should have heard.

Her hair is longer than Izu's and she used to have different colored highlights from what I overheard from Jin ages ago. Her highlights were probably red, since that is the Ark's color. The Ark definitely loved the color red because that is usually a color for evil. I am glad I never brought up her to anyone so I can handle this myself.

She smiles and steps towards me, holding out a key. "With this, you can become my precious master, the Ark," she tells me, lips curved upwards as much as they possibly can go. 

"Yeah, I don't think so, buddy," I say, looking down at the key. "Horobi will definitely want to have a key like that, but I have no intentions on taking an upgrade from you. You're wanting a war that I don't want any part of." I look back up at her as she frowns. She is way more expressive than Izu ever was.

"Aw...bummer! I even got this one out just for you!" She puts it down to the side, looking a bit upset. "You lost your son and you don't even care to get justice for it. Between you and me, we both know Horobi can't beat Aruto. The only one who can beat Aruto is you, Mari."

I would beat him, but I'm pregnant. "I do not have any intentions on continuing the cycle of human malice and Humagear malice. Now, Azu, leave me the hell alone. If you don't, I'll discontinue you and your precious Ark for good."

She laughs. "You? Without any power, what will you be able to do to me? You can't do anything without the power of the Ark." 

"You'll be surprised what I can do to you and your stupid face, Azu." I will stop this pathetic wrench from ruining even more lives out there in the world. 

"You've been a busy woman haven't you? Horobi is hung up on you because you're the only human who has ever been good to him. You two became lovers despite your differences recently."

"We're not with each other. We're not dating each other at all." 

"Hence the word for your relationship being lovers. Then you have Aruto, who wants to eliminate Horobi and make things right, wanting you. He also wishes to get rid of Horobi so he can have you all to himself. Did you know about that being his wish?" She looks at me, smirking like the smug Ark worshiper she is. 

"Aruto wants to do that to Horobi? Where is his remorse for murdering Jin in cold blood? His hatred for Horobi got an innocent person killed. You got an innocent person killed because you just want your stupid Ark back." I hate this woman already. I wonder if she's a Humagear or just data.

She steps closer to me and leans forward a bit, staring me right in the eyes. "The Ark is a God that is untouchable. The Ark will come back and will never leave this world as long as human malice exists with Humagear malice."

"Good for the Ark. Once I kill Aruto, I'll just kill the next host." And so on and so on. It'll never end. "It won't ever end." 

"Aren't you cold?" She laughs. "You're pretty fascinating. I really thought you would take the key from me and join in on the fighting. I never knew that you would be the type to turn down revenge after all you've been through. I wonder...is it love that is making you do this?"
