A Fresh Start

Preparation

That will be the last time for me to sleep very late before a seminar and a conference. I cannot keep on with whatever's going on back on that day. Everything that i did was trying not to sleep. It was so frustrating because Malfoy seems fine. After i arrived at my room on that day, i directly wiped my makeup, fash my face, change my clothes and went directly to sleep, period. But now, i still cant control my sleepiness. I was trying so hard not to yawn in front of the honorable guest even though i drank a lot of coffees this morning in order to stay awake. Well thankgod, we recieved the project that we've been dreaming on doing since last year, well they've been dreaming exactly since i just enrolled a few months ago. 

As a reward from our boss, we were having a "New York tour" as a company the next day, it was fun to get to know each and everyone of us regardless of work. All we care about was just fun, no need to think about all the tasks and works. It's also the time i get to know my co-workers and Malfoy even more and to be honest he's not that bad, maybe he has changed. I kinda enjoy being in the muggle world and i'm starting to get used and be comfortable here, just having a fresh start without having to worry about people asking you about your dramas. 

We went for a tour for three days straight, we visited Soho, Manhattan, Hyde Park, The Statue of Liberty and many more, it was super fun, we're not seeing each other as co-workers, there are no status or structures or anything. It was like we were friends who are just trying to have fun. Well, after three days full of silliness and fun, my boss said that our last two days will be free time for us. This might be a great idea to take some rest or having some mini adventures. I always have a dream to travel the world by myself and thank god today our boss made it came true and have a tour in one of the most beautiful city in the whole world. 

Finally after a super long day, I was finally laying in my bedroom feeling very full after trying foods on the streets, and trust me it's super delicious. By the way im a food hunter and a street food lover. I was about to close my eyes until i head a knock on my door, again. I opened the door and apparently it was Malfoy, again bothering me during my beauty sleep.

"What do you want Ferret?"

"Do you have plans tonight?" He asked nervously. Malfoy never seem this nervous before.

"Um no, why?"

"Meet me at the lobby at 7 pm sharp and dress properly, wear a dress if possible" Is he asking me for a dinner? Or probably a date?

"Umm, i didn't bring a dress"

"Whateverm just dress something nicely, and when i said 7 pm, i mean 7 pm sharp" He stated

"I'm never late, Malfoy, you are" I mocked. Because i have never been late, only a few days ago, and it's because of HIM.

"Lets see, Granger" He smirked and went back to his room.

Ugh why holding his prestige? His annoyingness is getting worse and worse but why is there some sort of excitement inside of me? I shouldn't be excited to have dinner with the "Used-To-Be-Enemy", right? But why did i feel like he changed? Like he's not the person he used to be. Okay remember Hermione, no feelings, just friends who's starve to death wanting to grab some dinner. He's your co worker, you cant date your own co worker.

But if i should be honest, I cant hide the excitement, i opened my suitcase and take every single piece of clothing and desperately trying to find a proper one to attend this dinner.

"Should i wear this"

"Um no no this does not look good"

"Ugh i look fat"

"I look naked"

"I looked too skinny"

"This is too casual"

After 30 minutes of battling with my own self on what i should wear, i found the perfect outfit. And now moving on to shower, hair do and makeup. It usually took 5 minutes for me to get ready and now i have to do everything manually. After i took a shower i decided to put some kimono and starting to do my makeup first, i didnt want to put some smokey eye look. I just want to put on a natural makeup, and i decided to curl my hair.

After im done with preping everything, i checked on my watch and it was almost 6.55. I decided to went downstairs and look around the hotel. The hotel was big enough and i havent got the chance to have some sort of mini tours since we're very busy with internal meetings, seminars and a mini tour. I dont know, i just love doing some mini tours on every place that i visited, especially big places. I also decided to put on a heels since Malfoy said this is some formal dinner. I hope the restaurant isn't far enough so i dont have to walk without my heels on.

When i arrived at the lobby i decided to take some pictures i the lobby and have a look around, It lasted more than 10 minutes and when i checked my phone i giggled a little.

"You're late Malfoy"

I know he'll be late.
