"But I can't undergo that test ! It's too damn painful for me !" I bawled out my emotions as I cried deeply.

"Nahi hota. Imtehaan pe imtehaan aaya hai meri aur meray husband ki zindagi mein. Ro kr, gham seh kr, aur buri tarha toot kr kisi tarha de diye ye imtehaan. Lekin phir aik aisa imtehaan aaya jis mein bas ho chuki meri. Himmat hi nahi rahi mujh mein ke mein usse bardasht kar sakoon." I kept on wiping my tears, the second they dropped down my cheeks.

"Aur aap ke husband? Kia....unhon ne bhi haar maan li?" She asked quietly.

I stayed silent for a minute and then spoke. "Nahi, meine iss imtehaan ko uss ke rukh murne nahi diya. Bohat dard saha hai uss ne. Bohat ziada." I sobbed.

Shs handed me a tissue and carressed my back.

"Sab theek ho jaaye ga. Bas thora waqt dein." She tried to comfort me.

"Waqt se hi to umeed hai. Ke yeh waqt aahista aahista sab zakham bhar de ga. Gehray se gehray bhi, meri aur meray husband ki zindagi mein." I whispered and shut my eyes, taking a deep breath.

"In Sha Allah." She added in a whisper and I felt my heart relax a little.

There was an announcement and I quickly glanced at my wrist watch to find out that it was time for my flight.

"Oh, I should be going now. It's time for my flight." I quickly got up and grabbed the handle of my bag.

"Alright. Have a safe flight. And oh. I forgot to ask you your name." She said.

"Nida Shehryaar Asif." I replied and she smiled.

"And yours?" I asked.

She told me her name and shook hands with me as I went my way.

My way to nowhere. A place where I knew nobody and had no place to go to.

Hussain's POV:

I woke up to my door being knocked. "Hussain beta." It was mom.

I squinted open my eyes and saw her come towards the bed. I half shut my eyes, pretending to be asleep and the minute she stepped near my bed, I jumped out the blanket and on her, hugging the life out of her.

"Hussain !" She said shockingly and I laughed.

"Uth gaya hoon mummy jaaaaaan." I spoke, yawning.

"Khair hai, aaj Fajr ke liye jaldi uth gaya koi?" She pulled away and raised her eyebrow questioningly.

"Woh bas aise hi." I scratched the back of my head.

"Tumhaari batteesee to koi alag hi kahaani suna rahi hai." She smirked.

Was it that visible on my face?

"Kiyun? Kia matlab?" I asked, feeling a little nervous inside.

"Mein pagal to hoon nahi beta. Yeh batteesee tumhaare baray bhai ke chehray pe kayi baar dekh chuki hoon." She said naughtily and I could feel myself blush.

"Nahi woh..." My voice was cut off by a loud crash sound which made both mom and I jump in our places.

"What was that ?!" My eyes widened and I dashed out of the room.

There was another smash sound and it came from.....Shehry's room?

I slammed the door open and saw him on the ground crying. Shattered glass and pieces of a broken scenery was all over the place.

"Shehry !" I yelled out as I saw him grab a halway empty perfume bottle from the dressing table, about to smash it too.

I ran to him and a small speck of the broken glass cut through my foot. I winced in pain and stumbled down next to him.
