Chapter 1 Annoying Dudley and Danger

Chapter 1
(Year Five)

**Rosemary's Point of View**
i was walking down the street my lip bleeding and my knee bruised you might be wondering what happened to me.... i was reading in my favorite tree when Susan and her little gang came along they said i should have died last year and i don't deserve to live and i am a curse to everyone.... and i'm starting to believe them.... i know i shouldn't but it's kind of hard from looking through my past like let's see i fought Voldemort in my first year with Harry and pasted out without giving him any help, Second year i got petrified and was gone for almost the whole year and was back to life when i had two months of summer vacation, Third year i got attacked by a Dementor, broke my rips, and felt depressed because of my Empath power, Fourth year i was in the Triwizard tournament and was in a coma because of it! and i kept losing my best friends! is life just messed up? or am i really cursed? i bump into someone "Holy mother of god! i am so sorry!" i said. i look up to meet a pair of green eyes who had to be my best friend Harry James Potter i notice it was getting dark how did i not notice this? "Hey, Harry! what are you doing out so late?" i said.
"one word Dursley's" said Harry grumpily.
i frown they haven't let Harry watch the news and my TV is broken so me and Harry have no clue to what has happened outside the world or if there mysteries death's. i nodded "I see" i said simply. "What happened to you? Your lip is bleeding!" said Harry worried. i got to think of a lie if he finds out Susan and her gang beat me up and there words are getting to me he'll beat the living day lights out of Susan "i fell out of a tree while reading my lip skidded on the tree while i fell" i lied. Harry crossed his arms seeing right through me darn this boy knows me too well
"What really happened, Ro" said Harry. i sigh
"Susan and her little gang beat me up i tried to fight back they were just too quick...." i said
"Enough about my troubles there the past now where are you  going?"
"just walking" said Harry.
"Can i join you? i don't need to be home until nine" i said. Harry nodded i pick up my book and me and Harry started to walk down the street "Have you had any useful letters from Ron or Hermione? or even Jamie?" i said. Jamie has left this summer she wouldn't tell me and Harry where though but there letters are the one's that annoy me and Harry the most. it's really nothing they say they will see us soon and don't go do anything stupid it's really annoying also annoying thing is my mother is never around! she left this summer and didn't tell me, Violet, or Julie where she is going my Grandmother, Grandma Emily (Father's side of the family), stay's with us since Violet can't take care of herself and i'm busy most of the time.
"No... still the same rubbish" said Harry. i groan "They are really annoying me, with there letters, i don't even know why i even bother to read them" i said. Harry nodded.

we got to a park and Harry sat on a swing, that Dudley and his little gang hasn't broken yet, i sat down near there crossed leg it was dark outside now and Grandma Emily got to be sleeping just like the rest of my sisters. "Is your TV fixed yet?" asked Harry. i sigh
"Nope" i said popping the 'P' "the repair man said it will take about the time when me and you go to Hogwarts" i said sadly. "What about you and Jason?" said Harry i could tell Harry is trying to keep his voice normal. i roll my eyes "We're fine he hasn't been writing to me lately all he says i have a surprise you'll love and that is it" i said starring at the ground. me and Harry were silent us stuck in our thoughts then i heard like singing and racing bikes. i look up, noticing it is very dark outside now, i see Dudley and his little group Dudley has became the jerk around town me and Harry even caught him smoking! i never expected Dudley to turn into that kind of person i check my watch "We better head home, Harry, it's getting late" i said when Dudley and his group disappeared. Harry nodded sat up and stretched, me doing the same, and we started to walk home me hugging my book to my chest

Dudley and his group got into view again and me and Harry hide in the shadows behind a tree
".....Squealed like a pig, didn't he?" said someone from Dudley's gang i really didn't care what there names were
"Nice right hook, Big D," said someone else from the gang. i roll my eyes from his nickname
"Same time tomorrow?" said Dudley.
"Round at my place, my parents are out," said another one of the gang.
"See you then," said Dudley.
"Bye Dud!"
"See ya, Big D!"
me and Harry waited i used my Empath power he seemed in the mood to annoy Dudley and i actually liked the idea i can never go wrong to have a chance to annoy Dudley

"Hey, Big D!" called Harry. when we were right behind him.
Dudley turned around
"Oh, it's you two." said Dudley
"How long have you been 'Big D' then?" i said still hugging my book to my chest.
"Shut it" said Dudley, turning away,
"Cool name," said Harry, grinning and falling into a step beside Dudley i was walking next to Harry.
"But you'll always be Ickle Diddykins to me."
"I said, SHUT IT!" said Dudley his hands clutched into a fist i'm already beat up so i'm going to shut up now....
"Don't the boys know that's what your mum calls you?" said Harry. i feel guilt washing over me i actually feel bad Harry's doing this to his cousin.... this feels wrong
"Shut your face" said Dudley.
"You don't tell her to shut her face. What about 'Popkin' and 'Dinky Diddydums,' can i use them then?" said Harry. Dudley said nothing "This is wrong...." i mutter i check my watch
10:30!!! my eyes widen i'm so grounded when i get home "Harry i got to go" i said. he gave me a smile goodbye. i stop Dudley not noticing  and i wait a minute, Harry still teasing Dudley, i sigh i'm going my short cut

i was in the street of Privet Drive, still hugging my book to my chest, the street laps the only light i have i was 10 houses away from my house where my angry grandmother and worried sister might be when all of a sudden it was freezing cold i stop dead knowing this feeling it can't be no it really can't be i got to be imagining things i look around if there was Dementors what am i going to do? i can't use magic outside school unless it was totally necessary but still it's better not to. i tried the quick way home i walk between houses when all of a sudden something grabs my neck pinning me to the wall of the side of a house oh no.... Dementors are here! i couldn't breath my book on the ground i got to find my wand. i move my hand panicy and quickly around my pockets and there it is in my back pocket but i couldn't get it out of my pocket i punch the Dementor away and fell to the ground and point my wand at it "Expecto Patronum!" i shout and a silvery Doe (it looks like the picture to this chapter) comes out and moves the Dementor away. my Patronus comes back to me and nudges me i got up and my doe faded away. i grab my book and walk out of between the houses and saw the one person i wished was with me
Harry James Potter.

**Harry's Point of View**
i saw somebody run out of between some houses and i narrow my eyes at her it was Ro she saw me and had a thank heaven kind of look. she ran over "What happened to Dudley?" said Rosemary. she was pail as Dudley and her Dark Chocolate eyes were filled with fear. "never mind about Dudley, what happened to you!?!" i said concern. "A Dementor attacked me" said Rosemary. Mrs. Figgs seemed more angry then before "MUNDUNGUS FLETCHER I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" shouted Mrs. Figgs scaring Rosemary to death.

**Rosemary's Point of View**
"MUNDUNGUS FLETCHER I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" shouted Mrs. Figgs scaring me to death. there was a loud crack i jump again and Harry pulled me next to him wow am i jumpy or what? there was a strong smell of tobacco i had a disgusted face i hate the smell of tobacco.... there was a man who i thin had to be Mundungus Fletcher he had a silvery thing in his hand i recognized it has a Invisibility Cloak.
"S' up, Figgy" said Mundungus, he staring from Mrs. Figgs to Harry then Dudley and lastly me. "What 'appened to staying undercover?"
"I'll give you undercover!" cried Mrs. Figg.  "Dementors, you useless, skiving sneak thief!"
"Dementors?" repeated Mundungus, aghast, "Dementors here?" i roll my eyes
"Yes, here, you worthless pile of bat droppings, here!" shrieked Mrs. Figg. "Dementors attacking the boy and girl on your watch!" wait a minute I've been watched! is that creepy or what?
"Blimey," said Mundungus weakly, looking at Mrs. Figg to Harry to me and back again. "Blimey, i....."
"And you off buying stolen cauldrons! Didn't i tell you not to go? Didn't I?
"I --- well, i ---" Mundungus looked deeply uncomfortable. "It.... it was a very good business opportunity, see..."
Mrs. Figg started to hit Mundungus with her bag which i think was full of cat food since Mrs. Figg has a pretty much a cat farm at her house. "Ouch --- gerroff --- gerroff, you mad old bat! someone's gotta tell Dumbledore!"
"Yes --- they --- have!" yelled Mrs. Figg, still hitting Mundungus with her bag full of cat food "And --- it --- had --- better --- be --- you --- and --- you --- can --- tell --- him --- why --- you --- weren't --- there --- to --- help!" (you have no clue how hard to write that)
"Keep your 'airnet on!" said Mundungus, his arms over his head, cowering. "I'm going, i'm going!"
and with another crack, he was gone.
"I hope Dumbledore murders him!" said Mrs. Figg furiously. "Now come on, Harry, Rosemary, what are you waiting for?" me and Harry didn't need a second told to. i took Dudley's other arm to help Harry and i got to say Dudley was HEAVY! it took every straight in me to hold him i put my book in my left hand and we started to walk "I'll take you to the door, and, Rosemary, it would be best if you stay with Harry" said Mrs. Figg i nodded and we continue "Just in case there are more of them around.... Oh my word, what a catastrophe.... and you had to fight them off yourself, you too Rosemary..... and Dumbledore said we were to keep you two from doing magic at all costs..... well, it's no good crying over spilled potion, i suppose..... but the cat's among the pixies now....."
"So," panted Harry "Dumbledore.....been having...... me and.......Ro.........fallowed?"
"Of course he has," said Mrs. Figg impatiently. "Did you expect him to let you two wonder around on your own after what happened in June? Good lord, boy, they told me you were intelligent" i giggle and we arrive here "Right.....get inside and stay there," said Mrs. Figg
"What are you going to do?" asked Harry quickly.
"i'm going straight home," said Mrs. Figg, staring around the dark street and shuddering. "I'll need to wait for more instructions. Just stay in the house. Good night."
"Hang on, don't go yet! i want to know ---"
but Mrs. Figg has already left
"Wait!" shouted Harry after her. i sigh "You go straight to my room, Ro, i'll be there in a minute" said Harry. i nodded and we walk inside i got Dudley's arm off me and ran straight upstairs into Harry's room when Hedwig saw me she hooted happily "Hey, Hedwig" i said happily back. i stick my finger inside her cage she nipped it affectionately i sat down on Harry's bed my book laying next to me
"BOY! COME HERE!" i heard Mr. Dursley shout. i flinch oh no... Harry's in deep trouble......
