Ch.77 Coded Eye

Alice looked towards the ground gripping Mav's shoulders tightly.

Alice: Mav, hold me firmly.

Mav: Sure.

Alice looked up to the sky anger and tears on her face.

Alice: ADMINISTRATOR AND THOSE THAT PLACED THIS BARRIER OF MINE! KNOW THAT WILL NOT BE SHACKLED! I WILL STAND AND PROTECT THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! YOU HEATHENS WILL NOT STOP ME!

I WILL FIGHT!!!!

I sheathed my swords looking at the demonic beings that laid before me. I went up to the next floor and sat down for a nice needed rest. If I'm gonna save Mav, I can't rush in blindly. As I began mulling over my thoughts I thought about this place. For a place that's  supposed to be holy, this ain't very holy. As suspected, this whole church is a joke. I hope Mav didn't fall prey to these Integrity Knights. He may have defeated the previous ones but I've heard that the Ber....couli? Broccoli? I don't even remember but I heard he's pretty strong. Just hold on Mav, I'm coming for you. I couldn't live with myself if I sat by doing nothing while you fought for your life. So just wait. I'll save you, no matter what.

Alice slowly  opened her eyes seeing she was not where she previously was. She noticed she was on the open air floor. She looked over seeing Mav laying on his side not moving.

Alice: Mav?

Alice got up and walked over to him seeing his eyes closed.

Alice: Mav! Wake up!

Alice began shaking Mav feverishly.

Mav: Okay.....okay....OKAY! I'M UP! SHIT!

Mav shot up wiping his eyes.

Alice: You didn't carry me all the way up here did you?

Mav: No, I flew us up here.

Alice kicked Mav at his sarcasm.

Mav: Ow, asshole!

Alice: That would be my line.

Mav: Heh, sure it is.

Alice: Where is your comrade?

Mav: Eugeo? Probably still ascending the tower.

Alice: Maybe, but Eugeo would've had to go through the strongest Integrity Knight. Knight Commander Bercouli.

Mav: I see.....Quick call: Locate Object. ID:BLU_RSE_SWD.ESP

Alice: What're you doing?

Mav: Trying to find Eugeo's sword. It's always by his side.

Mav pulled his glowing sword out and pointed it towards the roof and then to the ground as the sword's light began to pulsate.

Mav: Down it is.

Alice: Did you treat my wound?

Mav: Yep. I managed to stop the bleeding but I can't regenerate a lost organ until sunrise.

Alice: I see...it should be fine. My right eye may be a limit but I can still fight fine. This eye will serve as a reminder of my defiance and freedom.
