I unsheathed my sword as the figure got up out of the bath and placed some robes on before turning towards me as he raised his hand and his sword seemingly floated to his hand. 

Bercouli: Sorry for the wait. I have a question to ask before we start though.

Eugeo: What.

Bercouli: Is uh...Vice Commander Fanatio dead?

Eugeo: She's alive, despite my judgement.

Bercouli: Is that so? Then I won't have to take your life then.

Eugeo: Get off your high horse. For someone who supposed to be the leader of the Integrity Knights, you don't seem to care about your subordinates. Well, not that it matters much. You Integrity Knights are nothing more than mindless slaves devoted to the pontifex. So once I've defeated you, it'll be smooth sailing to the top right?

Bercouli: More or less. But I have no intention of losing.

Bercouli pulled his sword out and raised it high over his head with one hand. Looks like a modified version of the Norkia secret skill. I looked at my sword before remembering one of the styles that Mav taught me. He paused before telling me the name of the stance. I'm pretty sure he made it up on the spot. I held my sword low giving my stance a look full of openings. He called it the Bait Stance.

Bercouli: That's a curious stance. Never seen that one before. Are you perhaps a continuous attack wielder?

Eugeo: How about you come and find out?

Bercouli: Heh, very well. I'll be using my trump card early if you don't mind. Now prepare yourself youngster....Integrity Knight Synthesis-One Bercouli is coming!

Bercouli? The legendary hero? Not good. But I don't have time to dwell on that. I waited for Bercouli's attack as he slashed early? I was swiftly met with a laceration across my chest sending me across the floor as I healed myself and got back up picking my sword up and holding it with one hand in front of me. I continued my advance after my break before seeing a door open out of thin air to my right. I quickly brandished my swords before a small figure walked out and faced me.

Cardinal: Kazuto Kirigaya correct?

Kirito: Huh? How do you know me? Who are you?

Cardinal: I'm the Cardinal system. I noticed you wandering through the tower and I thought I'd give you some help. Hurry up and get in before they notice I'm here. If it helps, I know your friend that you're looking for.

Kirito: Hm......

Mav: Oh right! Haha!

Alice: Hm? What is it?

Alice watched as Mav reached into his jacket and pulled out a whole boxed lunch.

Alice:?!

Alice was in shock that he was able to somehow keep that whole thing in his jacket.

Mav: Oh man! I totally forgot about this! Thank you Cardinal!

Mav opened the lunch showing an assortment of foods from chicken katsu sandwiches to a sushi platter. Mav noticed out of the corner of his eye that Alice was staring at his food.

Mav: What? Could it be the holy Integrity Knight is hungry?

Alice: Nonsense. I have no such need for-
