After Mav and Eugeo healed up they continued on their way to the top.
Mav: So Cardinal, anything else we should know when we get to Admin?
Cardinal: The only piece I can give you is that Admin and the Integrity Knights have strained their resources to live for centuries. Admin spends most of the day sleeping. I can't be certain on what will happen when you get there. Just stay sharp I guess.
Mav: Will do.
Mav and Eugeo made their way down the hall stopping at the end seeing a weird light circle ahead of them. Mav heard something approaching from the circle as a platform of some sort slowly came to a stop in front of them.
???: Hello, what floor would you like to go to?
Mav and Eugeo stared at one another. Eugeo shrugged as Mav scratched the back of his head.
Mav: The highest I suppose....
???: Very well. Step aboard and we'll be off.
The two boys awkwardly stepped aboard the elevator-like platform as Eugeo looked around the platform slightly anxious while Mav crossed his arms and leaned against the back railing looking out the window.
Eugeo: Mav, are there platforms like this in your world?
Mav: Kinda. They're more mechanical and they don't float. But they do share the same purpose of carrying multiple people up or down multiple floors. Although, we don't need someone to stay in the platform to operate it. Say, little lady you got a name?
Operator: It's been so long that I've forgotten my name. Everyone just refers to me as operator.
Mav: How long?
Operator: About one-hundred and seven years I believe.
Eugeo: A hundred-and seven?!
Mav: I see....
The platform came to a stop as Operator did a little bow.
Operator: Thank you for your patience. This is the eightieth floor, the Cloudtop Garden.
