I sat in the waiting area outside the operations room, my mind was racing. The scene replaying over and over in my head nonstop. My hands were shaking like they used to back whenever I'd hold the toy gun in my apartment. Tears flooded my eyes and my chest throbbed with pain.

"Asada."

I looked over to where I heard my name and I saw Suguha along with Dogen and Kaine, Y/N's parents. One good look at my face made Kaine come over and console me.

Shion: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I should've helped him... I-

Kaine: It's okay, calm down....

Dogen: Damnit...why? Why my son?

After I calmed down, I told them what happened. Kaine and Dogen took it better than I expected. The operation continued through the rest of the night.

Monday, June 29,2026

I wish I could say that everything would be alright but that unfortunately isn't the case. While the drug has been removed from Mav's body, his heart was stopped for more than five minutes which could have caused possible irrepairable brain damage. In a worst case scenario, he may never wake up. But then, Kikuoka said that the National Medical Defense College Hospital would be the only place that he could get his treatment. I stood outside the hosptial as Suguha, Dogen and Kaine, and all the others came to the hospital including Agil and Klein. 

Receptionist: You're here to visit someone?

Dogen: Yes, my son, Y/N L/N.

Receptionist:.....? Excuse me, I need to contact my supervisor.

The receptionist dialed the phone and spoke in a low voice so we couldn't hear. After a minute or so, she hung up.

Receptionist: I'm sorry everyone but Mr. L/N is currently being treated using special equipment and visitors are not allowed until he recovers.

Everyone:?!

Dogen: But, that's my son! We can't see him at all?

Receptionist: I'm very sorry, sir.

I looked at Dogen who furrowed his brow and left the hospital as we all followed him out unsure of what to do.

Rika: What equipment could they be using that is preventing us from seeing him?

Asuna: Yeah, we were able to see Yuuki despite her using the medicuboid.

Dogen: Whatever the case is, something isn't right.
