Ch.83 Ingition Of War

The trio flew on Amayori towards the Village of Rulid seeing it ablaze. The smell of smoke invading their noses as Kirito saw the large amount of Goblins and Orcs. Eugeo noticed the villagers at the center of town and how the south exit was empty. They could easily escape but they weren't doing so.

Eugeo: They could easily leave through the south gate. Why aren't they going?!

Kirito: Whatever it is, you two figure it out! I'm going!

Kirito leapt off Amayori and plummeted towards the ground. Kirito pulled his blades out as his armor formed on him. Zink tried to hold the goblins back but was knocked down. As they went for the killing strike...

*BOOM*

With a resounding thud Kirito landed covered in the crimson of the goblins he landed on top of.

Zink: W-who are.....

Kirito slowly stood up as the goblins gnarled at him. The boy glared at the goblins before pointing one of his swords at them. Meanwhile Eugeo and Alice landed at the center.

Eugeo: What are you all doing?! The southern exit is open!

Rulid Elder: Chief Man-at-arms Zink has ordered that we defend the plaza. Even as Village Elder, I must follow orders. That is imperial law.

Eugeo: But-

Alice: I see why you and Mav fought against this order. We don't have time for this.....

Alice walked in front of Eugeo throwing her cloak off revealing her golden Integrity Knight Armor leaving the village people in awe.

Alice: I am Integrity Knight Alice-Synthesis Thirty! I hereby overrule Chief Man-at-arms order and command you all to evacuate through the southern gate now!

Everyone stayed silent for a moment until the Elder spoke up.

Rulid Elder: You heard her! The armed villagers take point! Everyone else follow behind and take care of the elderly and children!

Eugeo: I'll help with the escort. Alice, go help Kirito!

Alice's father nodded at her as she nodded back before going to join Kirito on the front line.

Goblin: Raagh!

Goblins charged towards Kirito only to be turned to mince meat by the swiftness of Kirito's swordplay. The goblins kept trying to overwhelm him but he knew all to well how to deal with enemies like these. He deftly moved through the street mowing them down as a large goblin stepped forward making the smaller goblins back up.

Morikka: I Morikka the Foot Harvester shall defeat-

Alice: Enhance Armament!

Morikka looked to see a large cluster of golden mass enveloping him and a big part of his invasion troupe as Alice grabbed her eye cloth and pulled it off showing her eye restored.

Kirito: Enhance Armament!

Kirito's eyes began to glow yellow as his swords lit up as well one a bright white light and the other being a dark purplish color.

Alice: Restrain!

Alice restrained the large group with her sword as Kirito performed four rapid slashes sending massive energy waves that cleaved the whole street. The restrained group fell to pieces on the ground as the group stood there dumbfounded as Kirito slowly approached the rest of the invasion group. The group yelled and ran backwards towards their homeland.

Alice: *sigh* Good work, Kirito.

Kirito: Thanks.

Kirito sheathed his swords and looked back towards Alice.
