I dashed through the city on my bicycle.It was pretty empty since it was kinda late but it looked beautiful out tonight.
I finally reached the hospital and texted Kazuto asking where is he.He replied saying that he'll be there in about 10 minutes.
???I was expecting Kirito,but, it's nice to see you too,Maverick.
I turned around and saw Sugo with a bloodshot eye and veins sticking out all around it.
Sugo:I've been out here so long.Am I gonna catch a cold?Heh,heh.
Maverick:Oh,its you.
Sugo:You did a very bad thing Maverick......you know I can still feel the pain.....
Maverick:Damn what happened to your face?I mean,you were ugly to begin with but now,I don't know if you'll ever have a chance with Asuna looking like that.I believe this is the end for you.
Sugo:End?Hardly....There are a lot of companies who'd kill to have my research.And,once it's complete,there won't be anything or anyone standing in my way.Then,i'll be a god in this world.
Maverick:You're still going on about that?Dude,you're no god.You're just an average guy like the rest of us or do you have a really bad case of narcissism?
Sugo:Always with a witty retort.Well,doesn't matter because i'm gonna kill you right now!
Sugo quickly pulled at knife out and stabbed me in my shoulder.
Maverick:Guh?!
I pushed him away and he came and kicked me making me fall to the ground and pinned me there.
Sugo:You think a piece of trash like you can get in my way?!Did you think i'll let you slow me down?Wanna know what the punishment is?Death.I won't except anything less!
Sugo went for the killing blow but missed.
Sugo:Damn,...my right eye is still all foggy.....but I won't miss again.Promise.
Sugo went in for another stab and I put my arm up taking the stab seeing the blade go through my arm and I used my strength to push him off me.
Sugo:You.....bastard!You're a little boy!You're a piece of scum!You don't have any real power!
Maverick:You're right, I don't have any real power,but who says you have any power?
Sugo:DIE!!!DAMN YOU!!!!
Sugo rushed towards me and tried to stab me but I caught his arm and slammed his head into a nearby car he got stunned and I ran up him punched him in the face as he gripped his knife and swung making me dodge it barely before throwing another punch that knocked him to the ground.I quickly got up and grabbed the knife still fresh with my blood and held it up to his neck.
Maverick:I oughta kill ya right now.
Kazuto:No.Don't,Maverick.
I looked over and saw Kazuto standing there with his bike.
Maverick:Why?
Kazuto:He should confess his crimes.Not be executed.
Maverick:Hm....fair point.
