I wanted to hang with my best friend Y/n but we have been so busy lately we haven't had the chance to. I truly miss her. But after today I won't have to miss her because I'm going to see her since I know she's off.
I came to her house and used a spare key. I helped her move to her new place & she gave me a key & I just never gave it back. I came in and I see her half dressed. jeans on just a bra & her ironing her shirt. Y/n has a nice body. I know I shouldn't be looking at her like this but hey I can't help it. I have to admit I'm attracted to my best friend. She's beautiful inside and out & if you seen her you would totally agree with me.
"Kitty" I said calling her nick name & she jumps startled at me.
"OMG you scared the life out of me" she said trying to calm down. It's funny she gets so scared easily.
I laughed
"It's not funny I really could have hurt you. I would have thrown this iron at you and burned you" she said as I came over to hug her. She then noticed she was half dressed so she then quickly put her button up blouse on. she looked very nice. I always admired her style. She makes clothes cool & shopping fun whenever we go together.
"What are you doing here & how did you get in?" Y/n asked
"Obviously to hang with you we made plans to hang a week ago remember?" I said & she gave me a face
"You are so right....wait how did you get in here?" Y/n asked noticing I didn't answer her.
"The door was unlocked" I said lying. "Are we hanging out?" I asked about to be disappointed if we don't
"Of course. I just need to show my face really quickly at my friend's baby shower & then we can go to the harbor & go for a walk, get a soft pretzel & hang on the dock pretty please" y/n said getting excited about the other plans after the shower.
"Sounds like a plan." I said in agreement as she put her shoes on to go.
Once we arrived Y/n and I went right over to her friend who's party it is & greeted each other
"Y/n I'm so glad you could make it"
"I know I can't stay but I really wanted to drop my present off to you & see you"
"Aww but thank you...hey isn't that..."
"Oh this is my boyfriend Ansel, Ansel this is my good friend Helen" y/n says and wait did she just...
"Hellos how are you" I said trying not to focus on what she just said so it won't be weird
"Hi I'm a big fan I can't wait to see your new movie" Helen said
"Thank you I hope you will enjoy it. Congratulations on your little bundle of joy that's on the way" I said to Helen
"Thank you so much. I wish you guys can stay but please take a party favor...& a cup cake" Helen said
We got our little party favors and said our good byes shortly after. We then headed to he harbor to hang out. We got on the pier boat to enjoy the scenery on this nice day. I got our soft pretzels she's been craving.
"Here you are girlfriend" I said deciding to pick with her about earlier
"Thank you" she says taking her pretzel not even noticing what I said.
"Is the pretzel good boo?"I asked picking on her again & now she noticed
"Why are you calling me boo?" she asked
"Because your my girlfriend remember ?" I asked messing with her
"Wait since when?" y/n questions
"Since you introduced me to Helen as your boyfriend that's when" I said making light of it. She blushes and then shys up.
"I'm sorry I didnt... I mean...I just ..it was..." Y/n so flustered.
"I'm just messing with you. There's no need to be sorry. I'm just saying if news gets around that I'm your boyfriend just be prepared" I said laughing & she just puts her head down after finishing her pretzel. I feel bad now because she looks sad.
"Y/n you know I was just kidding with you right?" I said then wrapping one arm around her shoulder and then she just kinda tucked her head & buried her face into my shoulder
"It's nothing to be embarrassed about...i was just messing with you kitty" I said trying to make her feel better.
"What if that did really go around to people & they will think I'm delusional or something & say horrible stuff to me...ive seen it done to Val" y/n said said bringing up my ex girlfriend. My ex put herself in compromising situations purposely that didn't do me any justice. I couldn't simply fix it and it was becoming a distraction. So I had to break up with her because we were growing apart & she just couldn't except my lifestyle. Y/n witnessed a lot of what I went through and she was there for me to show me support when it was needed most. & we just grew closer and closer since then.
"I wouldn't let that happen. If it did I promise to let everyone know it was a mistake. Whether your my girlfriend or not i wouldn't let anything or anyone hurt you." I said hugging her
"You promise?" She asked
"It's only a promise if you remain my girlfriend" i said seriously
"You want me to be your girlfriend??" she asked looking up at me surprised
"Yeah. I figure if it was way to natural to call me your boyfriend to a friend....then i know I'm not wrong for missing you for when we are apart like we have lately I know I'm not the only one......we just fit...naturally" I said
"I guess if it's natural chemistry who are we to disrupt the natural laws of chemistry yeah?" she said
"Bad things can happen if you do" I said
She just giggled & I did as well because her laugh is contagious.
"Can we seal it with a kiss?" I asked & she answered me with a kiss. It was perfect. It felt like whatever we have been holding away from each other was finally released. Now we are together & I won't let anything or anyone come between us
