Ansel had a dj gig that was coming up in a few days at this club and I can't wait. I love when he's in musician mode because it's like he's a whole other person & I love it. I was going to go have lunch with him on my break at work & he had just finished a photo shoot for a magazine he was going to be featured in.
We finally met at our favorite Chinese restaurant & ordered our food.
"How was the photo shoot babe?" I asked
"It was fun the photographer was Mason Scott who I worked with before so it was basically like hanging out & working with friends honestly" he said
"That's good...it definitely makes work fun & light work" I said
"What time do you get off work today?" Ansel asked me
"3:30 why?" I asked
"I just wanted to know how long will I have to wait for a back massage & cuddling that's all" Ansel said clearly a little tired
"I'll take care of you when I get home..it won't be long" I said
"I'm calling you on your girlfriend duties...I can't have you slacking on them" Ansel says jokingly
"Oh really you think I'm slacking?" I asked
"No I'm just saying I don't want you too & I'm really in a mood for you to do all those things....please" Ansel says & then our food came out.
"Uh huh" I said simply.
We began to eat and dig into our food. Ansel got a call from someone & he rarely answers his phone in these moments. Ansel doesn't like to be on the phone when he's with me, especially when he's eating or studying lines or playing music.only when he needs to answer he will.
He was on the phone talking about his gig he was going to be at. & that reminds me to bring it up. He later then finished the call & now I can talk about it.
"That was max talking about the gig?" I asked
"Yes my beautiful nosy girl" Ansel said messing with me
"Are you excited to go into ansolo mode??" I asked
"Definitely after this I'm going to practice some mixing & get my records together" Ansel said
"I can't wait to go it should be a lot of fun" I said & then he looked at me like I was crazy for what I said
"Listen about that...I'm not taking you with me" Ansel said bluntly
"What? why can I not come?" I asked offended
"Babe it's going to be a lot of people hundreds even cramped into a small space & I don't feel comfortable with you being there & I can't keep an eye out on you. It will make me feel better knowing your safe out of harms ways & out of the lustful eyes of a jackass" Ansel said firmly
"I can take care of myself & I really want to come. & if anything I need to be sure my presences is known. There are going to be a bunch of sluts wanting to be all up on my man & I can't have that" I said firmly back
"Babe you don't have to worry about that I'm going to be working & not paying attention to none of that. Right when it's over I'm coming right back home. I can't stay for the whole thing " Ansel said
"They don't care if you have a girlfriend or not girls will find a way to get to you" I said
"It's no need to be like that, I'm all yours & you know you can trust me. I know you want to come see me do my thing & have fun but I'm just asking if you can sit this one out. I've been to this venue before and it's going to be literally people on top of each other & I don't want that...can you please just honor what I'm saying to you?" Ansel
"Ok fine" i said simply
We finished eating & then it was time for me to get back to work.
"I'll see you when you get home if I'm sleep wake me up ok...i love you" Answl said leaning in to give me a kiss on the lips but I move my face but then he grabs my chin to pull my face to him & kiss him.
"Stop with the attitude" Ansel said knowing I'm mad he won't let me go.
"I'm mad" I said
"I will make it up to you I promise" Ansel said then giving me another kiss
"I gotta go" I said
"Not until you smile and say you love me" Ansel said
"I love you but I don't have to like you right now or smile" I said wanting to walk alway
"I'll take that now & make you pay for later go to work & be home when you can" Ansel said & then kissed me again.
I'm really mad he didn't want me to go to his gig. But I do see his point & I'll just listen to him even though I'm bummed about not going.
