"So erm..." he scratches the back of his head.

"You should go" I say. "Yeah I should" he stands up fully naked and grabs his boxers. I watch him get dressed, it was a habit. Then he turns back to me.

"Friends?" He asks. I nod and he leans down meeting my lips, his tongue immediately slipping in. I kiss back for twenty seconds then he pulls back and grabs his phone and other things then begins walking away.

What am I doing?

I get up with the sheets around me.  "Shawn" I call. He turns back facing me. I hold his face and kiss him deeply, loving every second of it.

"Hmm Maya" his hands slip past the sheets and he holds me up close to his body. "Yeah" I pull away briefly then continue to kiss him.

I pull back gently and he grins looking down at me. "Still Friends?" He asks. "Yeah Friends" I nod.

"I'll text you Maya" he pecks my lips once more before I could even object and he walks out leaving me.

Friends? Did I really think that was going to work? Our bodies are like... like he's the metal and I'm a magnet, we just stick. Our bodies are made for each other!

But our hearts aren't. How poetic and pathetic.

I flop back down in bed and just stare up at the ceiling then my phone buzzes.
