Happy One Year Anniversary, Toxins

May 27th, 2018 marks one year since I released my story “Stuck In A K-pop World (A Black Kitty Series, Book 1).” When I published the first chapter of my book on Wattpad, I also got to release you into the world.

You may not be known worldwide, but it’s from the little things that as times goes by might end up being something great. It may be a year, but I feel like I’ve known you forever. Of course I have because you happen to be the figments of my imagination, the ones who have made writing the Black Kitty Series worthwhile.

The five of you who make up The Toxins have always been in my head for quite a few years and how to release you into the world as a story was a challenge. But when I got to know K-pop, I finally figured out how to lay out your journey. And as much as the readers will find it as a fun ride for you, it has been a fun ride for me too.

I dedicate this day, especially to you because I know how much you mean to me and you have been my greatest achievement, despite all the odds. You’re the part of my life that has made me whole and that depicts who I am when I bring out the characters in you. I may not be a good leader like Samantha, melodramatic like Zoey, sweet like Christine, cool and sophisticated like Mike and innocent like Daniel; but you all bring out something that we have in common and that’s being ourselves.

People may find all of this weird, but I don’t care because it’s who I am. And today, I honour it as The Toxins One Year Anniversary. So may I say, lets party all night long in this complicated imaginative head of mine till whenever. Because out of all the 1000+ characters in my head, you Toxins happen to be the special ones.

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY, TOXINS AND TO ME TOO!
