Loki couldn't stop staring at his daughter. "Hey, Frigga! Frigga, it's me, Daddy! Hey, baby girl." Loki took her literally everywhere, and he proudly showed her off, too. Until she got hungry and I had to feed her. When Loki read, he read to her. When he was looking all kingly on the throne, he would always break character and coo at Frigga. When she cried, he could cheer her up.
Frigga smiled at him. Like, a genuine smile. Sure, when I was around, she'd get excited. But Loki got the full thing. Giggles and a grin, laughing... I could see light in his eyes.
Loki got up before me when she started crying in the hours before sunrise. He would hold her and hum the tune of a lullaby I'm pretty sure was used buy his mother. I once caught the words he sung:
Please don't be worried,
Just lay down your head.
Please, darling, don't cry.
In your tears don't drown...
I could've fallen asleep to those words if Loki had sung them to me. Frigga immediately quieted and looked at her father with curious, big green eyes. Loki's eyes.
