Silent And Yet Threatened

Avenir's POV

Today's Saturday and the guys already left. I did my normal routine. I left the house and went to the park. When I arrived, I saw many people staring at me. I felt uncomfortable but I managed to shrug it off. I saw Genesis and I walked to him.

"Hi." I waved at him.

He looked at me and then back at the book.

"Okay?." I sat beside him.

"what are you reading there?." I asked.

No response.

What's his problem? Did I do something wrong?

I peaked in to what he read but he closed the book and sighed.

"hey is everything okay?." I was about to place my hand on his shoulders but he stood up and walked away.

I guess he's having a bad day...

I walked to the beach and saw Sandy and Shiny. They were talking. I walked to them. They spotted me and then left.

" hey! Wait!... Never mind...." I looked at the ground.

"what did I do?." I clenched my hands in confusion. Then tears fell. I stood there looking at the sand.

"Hey... Miss? You okay?." A voice said behind me.

Then a hand was laid on my shoulder.

I turned around and saw A black haired dude with a blue streak on his hair. He had blue eyes.

"Hey are you okay?." he asked.

"y-yeah... I am.." I wiped my tears.

"You don't really look well." He said with worried eyes.

"n-no I'm fine." I said.

"Alrighty then.By the way my name is Ein Smith." He said waving goodbye and going to where ever he is going.

I sat on the sand and thought about things.

I sighed and hugged myself. The sky turned grey. Well this morning was no good.

I walked back to the house. My siblings had been watching TV. The housekeeper is having her break.

I went to my room. I checked my piggy bank. It was really heavy. A few more dollars to get what you want.

I sighed.

I told my siblings and the housekeeper that I'd be going somewhere.

So I left. I ran to the woods. I went to my tree house.

"finally."

I took one step and everything turned black.

??? 's Pov

She will be alright.

"Avenir is going to be fine. Do not worry." A man in a long cloak said.

"You know she can't be here!." I shouted.

"Pipe down you restless woman!." he said in an intimidating voice.

"Yes sir.."

"ugh..." Avenir groaned.

"she's waking up!." I whispered.

"Good evening Avenir Black." The man said.

"w-where am I?." she asked.

"You're in the middle of nowhere." the man said.

She then realized she was tied up.

"get me out of here!!! Ahhhh!!!!!." She screamed.

"Shut up!." The man slapped her.

She winced in pain.

"now. Let's get down to business... Do you know a guy named Genesis Grim?."The man asked.

Genesis? Why would he be asking for him?

" why should I tell you?!. " she growled.

" tell me or else your love ones will slowly die. " he said pointing at pictures and it was titled as "Targets"

Avenir's eyes widened and then she sighed.

"Why do you need to know?." She asked.

"He has something that belongs to me." he said.

"What kind of material?." she asked.

"just shut up and tell me weakling!." he warned.

She still didn't give in.

"Fine. Be that way. Assistant!." he called out.

I wore a mask which covered my face except my eyes.

I gave him his staff then stayed back in the dark after.

"One last chance pretty girl." he warned.

"Fine. You win. But, I have a price." She said.

"Name it." he said.

"You should never hurt my family or friends and let me go. " she said.

"Fine. As long as you tell me details about Genesis Grim." He said and motioned me to untie her.

I untied her and she stood up and looked at me.  She then looked at the man.

"Genesis Grim. A quiet and secret boy. He has a red streak on his hair. He is a group of friends. His nickname is either Ises or GG." she said.

"Family?." the man asked.

"Bryle Grim, youngest in the family.
Genesis Grim, middle child. Reyniel Grim, Eldest in the family. Both parents are abroad and I haven't known their names yet. The eldest was only heard by one of his friends in the group. He and his siblings are in the care of his grandmother. Some of the info came from one of his friends." She said

" Good." the man said.

"Now may I go?." she asked.

The man tapped his staff on the floor and Avenir disappeared.

"We have nearly all the information we need." he said turning around.

Back to Avenir's POV

I was poofed back to the tree house. I was startled at first that I couldn't move. A few minutes later, I sat on the ground. Who was that man? That person in the mask? That man in the cloak?

I just leaned on the wall and then drifted away to my dream...
