Alex POV

Today, Lauren and I are going to find out what the gender of the baby is! We're super duper excited because we really wanted a girl and we would be so shocked if it was a girl! But if it's a boy, we'd be just as excited! We're gonna pick up Liam from school so that afterward we can all go the doctor's appointment!

*At School*

Alex- Hi Liam!

Liam- Hi Daddy! Where's Mommy?

Alex- She's in the car with your brother. How was school today?

Liam- It was fun! Kaleo and I made a tower out of blocks and we knocked it down!

Alex- Wow! That sounds like a lot of fun! Guess what we're gonna go do?

Liam- I don't know! What!?

Alex- We're gonna go to the doctor's office and find out if you and AJ are gonna have a little sister or little brother!

Liam- Really!? Yay!

*At Doctor's Office*

Doctor- Welcome back, Mr. and Mrs. Burriss! *puts on gloves* Are you guys excited to find out the gender of your baby?

Alex and Lauren- YES!

Doctor- Alright! *looks through documents* Okay, this baby is due on April 25th. Oh, and I see you brought your little ones with you! They're so cute!

Alex- Yup! My oldest Liam and my youngest Addison.

Liam- Hi!

Doctor- Hi! Liam, do you want a little brother or sister?

Liam- I want a little sister!

Doctor- Okay. Well, we're gonna see right now!

I kneel down on the ground next to Lauren and grasp her hand tight as the doctor applies gel to her stomach.

Alex- Baby, this is it!

Lauren- Yeah! I can't believe it.

Liam- Mommy is the doctor going to hurt you?

Lauren- No, she's just going to see what's inside my belly by using a special tool.

Liam- Oh.

Doctor- *searches* Let's see here... Oh, I hear a strong heartbeat! So far, everything looks good. Now for the gender... *searches*

Lauren- *squeezes Alex's hand*

Doctor- Congratulations guys! You are having a little baby girl!

Alex- WHAT!? Lauren! *hugs Lauren*

Lauren- *starts to cry* Is this real?

Alex- Yes, Baby, it's real! *in shock*

I can't believe Lauren's dream had finally come true! We're going to become parents to a little girl. I know Lauren is going to spoil her A LOT. She's going to be Lauren's little best friend. After the doctor's appointment, we all went to Aaron and Roni's house to tell them the news.

*At Aaron and Roni's House*

Alex- Hello everyone!

Aaron-Hi Alex!

Roni-Hi!

Liam-Hi Uncle and Auntie!

Aaron- Hi Liam! *hugs Liam* Where's your brother?

Liam- AJ is with Mommy.

Aaron- Oh there he is! Hi AJ! *kisses AJ*

Alex- So we're here to tell you guys something.

Roni- Are you having twins!?

Alex- *laughs* No. We're here to tell you that we're having a...

Alex and Lauren- GIRL!!!

Aaron and Roni- REALLY-!?

Aaron- Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you!

Roni- Lauren! Your little girl can play with the twins!

Lauren- I know! I'm so excited! I'm gonna spoil her so much!

Aaron- Have you guys thought of a name yet?

Alex- Well, we have one in mind right now.

Aaron- What is it?

Alex- I don't want to tell you yet. *laughs* You have to wait.

Aaron- Can I at least know the first letter of the name?

Alex- Okay you can have the first letter.

Lauren- Her name starts with an S.
